i love this song. i actually found the lyrics on somethign before i had ever heard of Evanescence... lol. No offense to ppl who love it this way, i mean, i knew it was a song... But to me, even now, I think it sounds better as more of a poem then a song because Amy has to stretch a bunch of lines out and it doesn't sound as good. like the hate, hate, hate, hate part... it just sounds better as a poem to me, but thats coming from a poet who couldnt write a song to save her life. :D

This song is unmistakably about Ben Moody. Lee (Hartzl) stated that it was just a joke, but through the lyrics and how her voice carries the song, you can tell that she isn't joking at all. "You held me down and screamed you wanted me to die"... that can't come from an absence of emotion.

no one really knows... all i heard was that ben left because of musical differences. Later amy said that he was miserable in the band and they had grown apart as people and werent the same together. There were also reports that ben abused her... but i'm not really sure what happened.... It was a bit unfair that he decided to leave mid-tour!!

john and rocky have left the band (although john did make a statement on the internet somewhere that amy just fired him for no reason, unsure about what happened but anyway)... but amy and terry and the bassist (can't remember his name right now :S) shall still be touring. Its not going to be evanescence so much anymore as most of the original members have left :( theres only amy left now whos not a new member!! I hope the change is for the best.....

Oh damg, because i have movie maker but it keeps lagging, e.g when you cut a clip, when you watch it it goes from one clip to the next but when it goes onto th next clip it hangs and messes up the whole movie. Do you have any ideas?
