Nice guitar and good playing! I hate it when people say "It's shit player," just because they're doing chords. Yeh, sure, alot of chords don't require much skill, but all that means is you can't mess up on them. And beside, the soloing is amazing! Most people don't even stick around for one extra minuite to hear it, so there commenting befor the vids even ended! But your a really good player, and if anyones got any opinions on this guitar, plz meassage me I'm really thinking of getting one!

To everybody here: I have this guitar and it is heavy and plays like a Les Paul (weight and neck feel). The sound is great, but the neck gets to be quite sticky because of the laquer (in summer when you have sweaty hands). I'm in love with it, and it sounds marvelous through my Laney GH50L!!!

It weights around 8kg with a hard case. I know it because I usually have to check it in as luggage in the airports. Sometimes they let me take it on the plane with me and it's very hard to walk from plane to plane with something so heavy in one hand and your bag and laptop in the other (there are no carts "inside" airports, as you're not supposed to take heavy stuff with you). Anyway it's a great guitar and very beautiful! The white model looks really classic.

@Raceking023 PRS my friend. Almost every guitar made from PRS is better than an ibanez. If you can afford to get away from the SE's then do it. Well worth it.

What a bold statement. I've tried SE several models and they are your standard korean made guitars. Plus they have that lame cliché post-grunge look. I think Ibanez have made much more interesting and original guitar designs. Raceking: If the Ibanez appeals to you, go for it. That's all that matters.

@TheMoistdesert I agree the SE models are nothing special, I inferred that in my original comment. To generalize, most Ibanez guitars carry a look that really is aimed at metal guitar players. If you've ever played a high quality PRS there are quite few Ibanez models that compete. Raceking should really just play everything though. That's the only way to judge.

Oh, I can see I misunderstood your comment. Yeah the American made PRS guitars are fantastic. I once owned a Custom 24. The craftmanship was impeccibable, but it didn't feel right in my hands. That's a subjective matter of course. On the other hand, I've played several Ibanez guitars that has inspired me and made me want to pick up the guitar whenever I could. That's the characteristic of a guitar that is right for you, I reckon. But they, thanks for your civilised reply:-)

@Dethbrin The 500 has chrome hardware and no custom finish. the 520k comes in one of two custom finishes (DTV and SSB) Dark night violet, and Silver stream burst (the latter of which looks cleaner). The pickups are identical on either model, the materials are the same. The only difference is a few color's really. :)

This guitar looks and sounds great! I love how it's got a nice crunchy distortion, and still a warm fuzzy clean tone. I'm gonna have to give it a try at my local shop for sure.

it is my friend! i have it! the combination of the first two pickups are really heavy! the buck ones is for a clean solo! also tha harmonics are AMAZING! like the humbuckers ! i am very satisfied! Ibanez is GREAT
