At around 1998 when this fight happened, Muay Thai was on the decline when compared to 1992-1995. Kaensak was paid upward of 350,000 baht when the baht had the exchange rate of around 25 to the dollar.
WOW! both fighters are regarded as one of the best ever. But in this match you can clearly see that namsaknoi is better than saenchai. 2 bad he stopped fighting, cause he would rule the muay thai scene forever! In my opinion namsaknoi is the best ever!
@unimaculata yeah I posted this a way back. After seeing a lot of fights from both of them Saenchai is obviously more skilled. This fight should not have happened, as it is not fair for Saenchai to fight a guy much bigger.
both legends first time ive seen saenchai lose in the clinch an end up on the floor or the bottom" namsaknoi dee mak mak!!!
