  • Good for you for getting a second opinion.

  • What is the medication the doctor prescribed to you? I have it too and I would like to discuss this with my doc?

  • @cutenlovely he gave me some type of ointment but I think u should go to the doctors to see what alopecia you have. Make sure you get some type of testing done.

  • I'm going to see a dermatologist, and I'm not understanding where mines came from. I wear alot of glue in weaves, and this last time, took the cake. I took off the cap where the lady braided my hair down, and then put cap on it and glued hair in. When I seen the white patch of dandruff, and started to scratch it and peel it off...HAIR came along with it.....so now I have this patch in my hair....I'm not understanding why its like this, or what I need to do to get it back, but its serious...

  • Have you hand your Thyroid checked. The same thing happened to me years ago, the hair would fall out grow back and Doctors kept telling me different things. I finally went to a Doctor that did a complete check up and I found out that my Thyroid levels were crazy high. Find out if anyone in your family has a thyroid problem... Its very common in the African American Community. Your too pretty to go through this. Good Luck!!!

  • @KayKittles no I have never heard of it. It is something I need to check out about. Thank You! I really appreciate it.

  • I have aloepica and peolpe make fun of me and im only 13

  • @sanabak It's crazy how people can make fun of something they don't understand. The lack of knowledge can cause people to hurt one another, but after you allow people to explore the experience with you, they should understand. Hopefully, you are not allowing this negativity get you down. If anything you should be laughing at there ignorance.

  • oh yeah i love the environment of my school. im at the art institute of dallas. and i was thinking about making a hair video, but i dont know what to say lol Art i can talk about all day. Hair......not so much lol :/

  • okay so i randomly stumbled upon your vids and i love them!!!! lol im also in art school, i absolutely loveeeeee school but its sooo hard to afford it! i've also heard the "take out a loan speech". but i have an amazing mom who does whatever she can to pay my tuition. what art school are you at?? oh and im transitioning....5 months in december. hope you get to reply! :)

  • @IdaBrownArt Thank you! It's good to have support! I don't go to a art school, but I did before. The ppl are great to be around! I'm at CCBC. WBU? 5 months relaxer free?! Thats great! omg you should make some hair videos lol

  • I don't have alopecia, but today, my sister got into a fight. We ALWAYS get along. We never ever fight and she pulled out my hair on the side, so now I have a bald spot...2.5 years into my natural hair journey. I've been watching your videos and your hope that your hair will grow back is helpful to me. God bless you.

  • @ladyEulaelie OMG! Did you guys make up? I'm really happy that I can help!!

  • @MissSpeciallyMade

Yes, but I'm hurt that I'm bald. I never thought this would happen to me! She doesn't seem to care and has not shown any compassion towards me, even though I've reached out to her to make things good.

I'm really depressed about it. Apart of me is missing and I don't know if I'll ever get it back! Hair is a woman's beauty and I feel like my beauty has been snatched from me. I'm for sure trauma was done to my scalp & I don't know if my hair will ever grown back =/

  • @MissSpeciallyMade

She pulled out about 12 of my kinky twist and from the root the hair came out. I can put all 4 of my fingers where there's no hair...and the area is about 1 inch wide. I didn't want to fight her and was trying to stop the fight even when it started. My heart wasn't in it.

I didn't deserve what she did to me, not even in the least bit. I was actually trying to talk to her and calm her down and she turned on me and started hitting me. I should have just walked away...UGH!

  • I feel for you!

I recentley have been diagnosed with stress induced alopecia and I used to have long thick hair and now my hairs very thin and stubbly and all different lengths ):

  • The word (condition) is RINGWORM!!!!

  • hey! first of all i want to say that u are beautiful! and can i please ask u more facts about alopecia?:)

  • My dermatologist gave me shots in my head and some kinda spray for alopecia... it worked! but by now your hair has probably grown back, if not ask your doctor about the shots

  • I went through the same thing and after 3 Dr's. The 3rd Dr sent me to a dermatologist and it was discoid lupus and it has manifested to SLE Lupus and now I can't work due to having heart surgery in 2008 due to it flaring up. I am now doing me whenever I can and try to keep my stress lvl down. But with an 18, 14, 6 yr old it is hard. But I manage with the grace of God. I pray that you stay stress free and well.

  • you definitely don't look stressed thats for sure =) you look beautiful....yeah don't take out any loans, becuz in most cases you end up paying back way more than you borrowed :-/ teaching children is fun, it's hard work, too but definitely rewarding, can you tell i'm a teacher ;-) hope everything works out for you, whatever you do don't stop making vids :-)

  • @ChaoticCurlz Thank you! YES I can tell.. you seem friendly.

  • WOAH , You're Gorgeous<3

  • Stay encouraged...

  • So sorry that u're suffering stress and alopecia. Maybe u can try to increase your goal timeline in an effort to reduce your stress. Maybe give yourself more time to complete school and/or get a job. Also, if u're up to it, please keep us updated on the alopecia situation. I'm sure we can really learn from your experience. Best, de-stressed wishes in all that u do!

  • DAmn that sucks. Hopefully you stress less so your hair grows back.

  • @LogicalSanity Thanks.. it really sucks.. bad

  • you know what i saw another video yesterday about stress and hair loss. Girl just let go and let God. Have faith that everything will be okay, WHATEVER it may be. Don't stress your pretty hair out!!

  • @ChelaGorgeous Thank you.. yeah I'm not gonna let stress control my hair lol

  • whereabouts is the alophecia in your hair? I thought most people got it near their edges.

  • @curlicakes My hair loss is on the top of my head. IF I try to part it on top of my head you can see the hair loss. alophecia is a general word for "hair loss"

  • @MissSpeciallyMade: There is a free naturopathic approach for alopecia on our channel in the comment section.

  • why not sell your art here on youtube??

  • @embracingnatural I would love to.. but i dont know how too. I tried and it was a fail

  • please please handle your stress!! I went to school with a girl who lost every strand of hair on her head due to stress related alopecia. It did grow back, but it took 2 years to begin to fill in. Hope you find your way to peace.
