Great footage of the approach. I don't think they had the checkerboard back then, and the runway was shorter.

I love it. The "checkerboard" turn, rooftop glidepath, last-second adjustments. Now THAT'S flying. I rode in the (similar) 880 when I was a kid. Great stuff!

I remember having seen it in the Coronado at the museum of transport in Lucerne when I was a kid. Do you have the beginning of the film, would be nice to watch that again!
