Yes, lets wear big nerdy helmets with a BIKE HORN, maybe some soccer pads, wrap ourselves in bubble wrap, 3 layers of pants, some kevlar, bullet proof vest under that, safety goggles, paintball mask on top of that, then a cape, 6 layers of socks, cleats, 8 layers of socks on the hands with gloves on top then mittons on top of the gloves.

Make sure to foam-pad the bike, too. And never ride the bike anywhere unless the ground is cushoned, like foam.
