Why would you chose a singer who can't even reach the notes? Fail. Manzarek and Krieger and brilliant as usual. Ray Manzarek is the #1 person in the world I'd like to meet. I've idolized him since I got my first Doors record at the age of 8.
i agree, he might be technically flawed..but morrison was a poet and wanted to be recognised as one, hence the beard and hair. Yet he's one of the most charismatic frontmen of all time and of course the music is truly eternal
Did his best. Didn`t reach for the high notes, as Morrison did on the `City of Lights` chorus high point. Great rock tune. Singer did well..no one can replace Morrison. Keyboard solo too long..then that was he case in the 1960`s...Yeah, the crowd loved it...Exciting!!!!!!
Imagine to have to replace Jim Morrison... It would be like when Queen'strying to find a replacement for Freddy Mercury for their reunitions. It must be a hell of a challenge...
Hey Mamba-here's a dose of rock history: Robby Krieger did a heck of a lot of song writing including Light My Fire, Love me Two Times, and even the riff (not lyrics) for Wild Child to name a few. The four worked collectively as super musicians, and yea Manzarek kicks ass with Densmore. Jim Morrison rules forever!
heybamanba, clearly you have no idea. who wrote the music for the band?? you tard. without manzarek, the musical genius of the band, and krieger, who wrote "Light My Fire", actually, Jim would have been a poet, like he always wanted to. Morrision just wrote lyrics, never music.

this ain't the fuckin doors man. jim's dead. what boys , you need money, you gotta tour with astbury and pretend just cause you know the notes. how fuckin pathetic. admit it, jim was the doors. your just hollow, ashen, a wisp of smoke from the fire the jim lit for you
This is probably the best clip of these I have found on here. If anybody knows any better, please let me know. I saw this show in person in Glasgow (Scotland) on 15 June 2007 and I was blown away. I had a great view, but it looks like this one was even better. Thanks a lot to the person who recorded and added this.
so cool, robby and ray are still as good as they used to be, if not better!!!!!! Saw them in 05' at TRUMP TAJ MAHAL, DEcades rock, and also saw them may
