  • That is one great reproductionl of a clod-like collection of condensers and a deplorable dunderhead. Oh, the pain of it all.

  • A real robot should have only one on/of switch and not a bunch of stupid light controls switchs... and switch and switch.

  • That master switch will come in handy if he ever runs amok and tries to kill you.

  • it's great.but you obviously have too much time and money

  • I would SO have one of those built if I was rich.

  • Absolutely amazing! I love it!

  • Very Impressive!

  • If you could get Electricity to arch from the claws

    it would be complete..

  • @tjfreak SILENCE, you nickle-plated ninny! ;)

  • Thank you friend sooooo much for keeping such a excellent show and era of great shows alive by buying this robot and filming this clip!! Really!

  • Is that a Fred Barton robot? His are pretty good right out of the box but you seem to have enhanced the lights and action.By the way , Dick Tuffield will provide personalized robot remarks for about $200. There's also "Robot Ramblings" on CD that includes 3 seasons.

  • Hi

The ony part on this robot that is Fred is the Torso and bubble. All other parts I either made or got from the B9 builders group.

    Thanks for the comments.

  • LOVE IT! WANT TO SEE IT! LIVE IN CT! What do I do??

    Help! Want to see him!!!!!!

  • These recreations are not only superior in technology but as with this one the body is

flawless unlike the originals.I didn't notice

the all the flaws in the originals until watching LIS recently -scratches -gouges -bad spray paint job- the globe scuffed and scratched.God bless these guys who get it done

  • @tjfreak Hey, man, the poor old Robot had to put up with a lot of abuse from Dr. Smith.

  • That looks like some amount of work and time you put in tho creat all this.

    5S.

  • They are good for artificial intelligence, with those hands, what evil can those robots do?

  • great videos , i have inspired me to get my torso out of the attic and go back to work .. b9-0159

  • I tell you guys, if it was not for this great builder's videos, I could of never known where to start with these great features. Thanks Tom. Victor B9-0082

  • Thanks for your nice comments!!

    Tom

  • Awesome robot !

  • AWSOME I built the same one in 30 minutes!

    JUST KIDDIN

  • "How silly can a Robot be and still be useful"

Wheels instead of legs; no good.

Can be good for poor ppl who can't afford the robot ASSIMO; that's good.

Can be good company for lonely housewives; they can spend entire days chatting silly things together.

ill buy one if it has a CD player and a VCR

  • Awesome! How did you build this God-Awfull bubble-headed-booby-mechanical-monstrosity? Also, in your opinion, how long do you think it will be before a robot like the one on the show could actually be made? 2030, 2050, 2080, Ever? - Rich T

  • You have cool toys.

  • From Brazil (Rio de Janeiro) to you: congratulations! Really very beautiful robot. Lost in Space it´s my favourite TV series since 1966 when I see for the first time (I´m a 4 years old at that time). If you have ORKUT, find me (use my full name) to see a picture of my room: I have several ships and robots of Lost in Space, Star Wars and Star Trek. Regards,

    Luiz Fernando Areno

  • This is an awesome piece of work !

I see an R2 unit in the background, so I guess you're a R2D2 builder club member aren't ya ?

  • Yes. He is fully operational. I have a video on youtube showing him run around. I also have a C3PO.

  • beautiful!

  • Whoa. What else can it do besides talk and make LOUD NOISES!!! >_<

  • He is full RC contollable.

He drives around using RC controls. His arms move, torso moves.

  • WOW! AWSESOME WORK!

  • I have an endless assortment of tracks that I can play. I use a compact flash card and I have a library of tracks that were recorded by the voice of the B9 robot at my disposal.

  • Very nice. How many lines does he speak ?

  • Great Lost In Space robot. Excellent video of the assembly and great ideas. Thank you. Victor
