When you rub the dirty rag over the next dirty section. YOU"RE SCRATCHING THE PAINT! No professional detailer would be caught dead using a waterless 'system'. Use a microscope on the paint when you're done and you will see small scratches appear MUCH faster than a typical water method. The clear coat will be shot real quick. What scientist or laboratory did you use to confirm this was a good idea?
you know the problem with many people these days, they are all so close minded. Just because you guys think the dry car wash thing cant do a good job doesnt mean it sucks. It could be really good. Think outside of the box. We live in the 21st century. Technology is improving so rapidly. I wouldnt be supprised if we were able to bake a cake in 5 min within the near future
Water is used to loosen dirt. That stuff doesn't loosen the dirt, it is picked up by the cloth. This means that as you move it scratches your car. Environmentally friendly products are usually crap. This is just another going on to my list. At the end of the day, that WILL scratch your car - for the same effect use a bottle of water and a cloth. It will NOT work.
I'm not a car valeter but i have used a dry wash before and it works great and it certainly does'nt scratch. Look at all the dry wash pro valeting business' on the web, do you think they would still be using it if it scratched? Going out to work every day scratching cars? Its better than water and the finish on the paint work is ten times better than water , Gleaming!!!
That is just plain scary. Note that when the cloth is lfted on the bootom section it is packed with dirt from the car - and then its placed back on the surface and rubbed vigourously! Some waterless car washes do work, but onky if you turn the cloth and rinse out often. Do what we have just seen, oh my.... the poor clear coat!
ive just re read the comments and the one by noewon2 stands out, water doesnt protect the car eh.who would have thought.good job i use nattys blue then isnt it.
I normally do a traditional car wash (2 buckets, 1 rinse bucker and 1 with soap solution) but there are good quality waterless washes. But to claim it washes and waxes and polishes is just out right false. The only way to truly polish the paint is with a quality buffer (Porter Cable 7424 or the Ultimate detailing Machine) and a polishing pad and some polishing compound PERIOD. It if does contain any wax it's probably bees wax ti give the water beading affect with no real durability.
shows how much you know. water doesn't protect the car.. it scratches. I've used this stuff and it works. mind you, the guy in the video does look like a salesman trying to push something
what total guff, why on earth buy a can of that lather the car in it and scratch it to ribbons when you can just use water!!? Its alot cheaper and better for your car!! Compare the cost I bet you would be way outta pocket over a couple of washes.
you know that left alot more swirl marks than it had .dont mickey mouse it and do it right. stop picking on men that barely know their name.go to a professional auto detailer and try to wash his mouth the same way you did to that guy.
There is a bird which steals shinz things, some people seem to work the same waz.

If it takes 5 minutes to do the car with waterless yet a good hour to do it by hand with traditional methods that speaks for itself.
I can bake a cake in 5 minutes too, but its guaranteed to taste crap - same theory.

U do not know much about cleaning zour cars, that is whz it looks so good for U.
I know it is hard to drag 15 kg bucket of water x 5 or ten times or to uncoil the garden hose.
For some it is hard to think and this system has been designed to help them with their painter visit

I might as well use windex and paper towels on the car.
IMO this is just a micky mouse way of cleaning your car. Take the time and do it right.

That is the last thing I would use on my car, I might as well spray it down with windex.
