Hi! I'm considering on getting my hair braided. Can anyone tell me how long I can keep the braids in before my hair starts to lock (I'm going to use synthetic hair). I really want to prevent locking! For me I can go 4-6 weeks before my hair starts locking, my daughters can go a full 2 months before their hair starts to lock. In all honesty it depends on your hair but to be safe side I would say no more than 4-6 weeks. This will also ensure that your hair doesn't start breaking. Braids can cause breakage if left in to long. Just make sure you keep them moisturized really good!

Yes you can use that instead. Many women use it as a KCCC alternative with beautiful results. Just make sure yo use a creamy leave in under it or it will dry crunchy.

Yes girl. I used the The Totally Twisted Ginger Almond Butter and a little of the Pure Whipped Gelly for a little extra hold. Then for moisture on the days after I use the Shea Amla Whipped Butter Creme. I so love these products and just ordered more!!
