I’m happy with my 325i, but the only performance mods are sport suspection and the Signature Motoring performance intake for about $150. Signature Motoring kit adds around 9HP on the dyno, great sound, and the best performance upgrade for the money. See my channel videos!
-Adds 9HP average
-Never replace filter again (uses K&N filter)
-GREAT SOUND
-Installs in maybe 30-45 min. K&N filter lasts a lifetime.
I have an E30 325i and the only performance item I have is the Signature Motoring performance CAI for about $150. The performance kit adds around 9HP on the dyno, sounds freaking great, and installs in under 30 minutes. Highly recommended.
-Avg 9 HP increase
-Lifetime filter
-SOUND AWESOME
-30 min. install time
Aside from the power gain, the SOUND is amazing at higher RPM but sounds normal in regular driving. I’m thinking about added high-flow exhaust next.
I just like to know what engine that E30 has - sounds a bit like an M engine? You need at least around 300 hp to get the tires smoking the way they do in this vid on the straights.
The engine in that car "sounds" like a 3.6 liter "M" car engine with either a CF intake manifold or ITB's. Either that, or, it's the factory engine with the same intake mods and no catylitic converter and a small muffler. Either way this thing sounds to be one of the most potent beemers I have heard since the M powered 318 on google. That thing sounded better than sex my friend.
i don't think you get what drifting is all about ... if your on your stopwatch then forget it; its all the other way round... does he really look like he's triying to do a time ? if it does to you then you might want to try some other hobby....

I'm thinking maybe performance exhaust, but eh.

It's really hard to handle E30. I've driven my friends '88 Hartge 325i several times and that was really hard to handle when trying to show off...

i make it around there in 55 seconds in the gokarts they hire there. So 44 secs in that beamer is quite impressive :-)

318is :D
I have one :P
but it got a deep sound, so it could be a 6cyl.
