  • The guy who pulls the hose is Daniel Biechele. He was responsible for the fireworks.

  • @rzezagar How do you mean? Would you mind explaining what exactly happened? All I know is what I see and the fact that 97 people died in this fire. (If it's not 97 it's still pretty close and that's still a shit ton of people)

  • Does... Does anyone else feel like this was a preplanned genocide...? That brought tears to my eyes... There's next to nothing that can do that to be honest...

  • @hikaruultma

a prepared fenocide? no way man, the band was still playing when the fire begun, the security in the buildng was terrible...

  • @elmiguel17 dude they didnt even see the fire or smoke till everybody yelled fire except for the cameraman thank god the cameraman is still alive

  • @Mike943905 yes i know but why calling it genocide.......

  • @elmiguel17 whats that

  • @Mike943905 Genocide is the preplanned killing of a certain group of people.

For example: The holocaust was a Genocide of any "non-Aryan" individuals and Jewish people in Germany around the mid 1930s early 1940s.

  • @elmiguel17 Sorry, I was high and paranoid at the time I wrote that. But still, I could see that possibly being the case but in the case of this exact fire, it was just bad planning and misplaced pyrotechnics. It is really chilling to watch that and see just how many people died. I do believe that's one of the very few times I've cried while being high. Though I didn't say I cried, it's true. I did cry.

  • It took almost a minute for the fire alarms to go off. Its very suureal watching this knowing 100 people died, and many more were scared for life. Hard to believe its been 9 years tonight. May they all rest in peace.

  • I wish the band had announced that there were exits in the back. This is a truly horrifying tragedy. You see how people were incredibly calm in the beginning, who would have thought that within 30 seconds it could have gone so wrong. My heart breaks for anyone involved or related.

  • @WhitneySnd There were people trying to get out of the back exit and a small few did, but security told people to use the front as it was club policy. You would think common sense would have told security policy has no significance during a disaster. So sad.

  • 666 got eat some shit ass hole

  • Hi There DB for my name is Pattie, and you can find me on FB Pattie Ann Morrow- Syverson. I 'm very upset over your horrible comments.,regarding this terrible tragedy, however if you come after Jack or Thierry, the authorities will be involved.... Well you have my FB. befriend DB I dare you.......

  • @titanarum666 Fucking virus.

  • @boxriot awww ya make me feel all warm and cozy thankyou..

  • You no make bing bong, every bing bong 2 cents!

  • @titanarum666 WOW! Would you say that to the face of someone who lost a family member or friend in this fire?... I know... you would say yes. My response will not come as a shock to you when I say: you are a pathetic piece of trash that can only assist the human race by your quick elimination from this planet.

  • @survivorbk I was there dumb ass and stuck around to see them pull the crispy critters out . and yes i was laughing as they did,,, i was with my girlfriend and she lost her brother in the fire. but he was a pussy and wasn't man enough to push aside people to get out as I did. and yes i have laughfed in the face of people that lost friends and family members to death,,, it is what i do..

  • @titanarum666 WOW! I have been doing research on the victims and Survivor's stories for about 3 years now. You are unique in your attitude towards the tragedy that is actually fascinating. What is your name? Would it be possible to interview you at some point? Mabe share an address with the community?

  • @survivorbk sure it is fuck you 6969 yourmother way vancouver canadia Email gofuckurslf@gnet.com nice try.. dickhead

  • @titanarum666 Oh man, you are so cool! making up a story on the spot to make yourself seem like a badass! damn, you win the internet toughguy award!

  • @titanarum666 You sir are a huge piece of shit. You should be set on fire to see how it feels.

  • When were the firetrucks going to start spraying water, they had been there awhile.

  • @terahenryshook It takes a few moments to get the pump going. They are going as fast as possible.

  • Fake

  • @Hero2many over 100 peopel died

  • @Hero2many This is not fake! Don't be a douche.

  • I just watched this on Best Gore. The video quality is a lot more clear. I watched it a few times. I did not enjoy watching it all. Just the brutality and horror that came from the video captured me. It would have been nice if more people there helped on the outside to break some windows or help people out instead of walking around bitching about little things like their hair. The fire was just devastating in how quick it spread. Hopefully this never happens again! What a tragedy!

  • I could sit here all day trying to explain how heart breaking and sad this is, but I truly can't find the words to even begin to understand the pain and hurt they went through! God bless all those that lost there lives...and there familys

  • 没有中国人遭到杀害,在这部影片的制作

  • That is both an amazing and horrific piece of footage. The cameraman deserves full respect for realising that the situation was about to turn sour and head for the door before everyone else started the rush. I'm almost glad that you don't see the front door as the fire takes hold there because I'm sure that they didn't clear that crush before the fire reached them. What a way to go. :(

  • @horsemanuk Unfortunately, when the camera man walks back around to the front of the building after hearing people screaming as they burn alive from inside the station (5:30), you can see people still wedged low in the doorway around (6:30) just roasting in pure hell. Someone runs out of the place literally on fire and you can see the doorway engulfed and through the hand rails you can see the silhouettes of poor people moving around in the flames just before the fireman starts spraying them.

  • @horsemanuk I believe the cameraman was a part owner... and was sued for $30 million for being an obstruction and not helping.

  • Several people have commented about the girl saying "my hair". If u listen another 2 seconds she says "I'm bleeding.". Don't be so quick to judge."

  • Horrifying. It seems like an eternity before you hear the fire trucks.

  • @TheSudser And they literally could not have gotten there sooner. Even getting pressure into the hoses takes a few moments.

  • horrible accident! Know your exits people, always! The way you came in is not always the way out. Smoke is super hot and to breath it in your lungs is painful! Also it's blinding, your eyes feel like there on fire and sting like crazy not to mention your whole world turns black right before you. I can only hope that many people see this video and it gets them thinking about fire and how quickly it can get out of control

  • @CMLittleboot

As i recall, the bouncers would not allow anyone to get to the rear exits. They were locked shut to anyone from inside. anyone that headed to the rear exits was sent back to the front entrance. Unfortunately the front windows that could have been broken out to make large exit ways. were blocked to the point no one could get to them.

Read the fire report on this and it tells all about the reasons people didn't do what you would think they should have.

    A sad day in history.

  • Dave Palmer R.I.P.

  • The EMT walks up and asked " how did the fire start"? and the guy says they had some fireworks on the stage........Whatever dude!!It does not matter, stop talking and go rescue people!!!!!!!!!! The camera man should have been doing a little better.....yes, he captured raw video, but he set the camera down after 7 minutes, after the fire dept. was there...he should have captured rescue operations.....very weird......Go help pull people out of the burning building ass-wipe!!!!!!

  • I have studied this video from the get-go. I play in a minor local band and still have problem with the camera man. What was on his mind? Also, I do not understand now Ty Longley did not get out with his other band members? I am the singer/songwriter/front-man in a band for many years...I would have looked for my dear friends as a whole. Where was Jack Russell when this went down? I am not blaming him, but damn, why could he not get out. That freaking club had no back entrance for the band?

  • @hanklove4ever From what I have read, the back entrance near the stage was used by the band members and some patrons before a bouncer/security blocked it. TY was on the far side of the stage. I think he was at the exit but went back for his guitar where the ceiling had melted off and started covering the people's heads. Horrible! There is some ass-hat on here claiming he climbed over bodies to get out and then laughed... maybe we can ask that idiot.

  • The most disturbing video I have ever seen in my life, worst than 911, if you don't agree that is cool. My problem is and question the camera person had great footage from the start of the fire. Then he/she sets the camera down 11 minutes after the start of the blaze. He could have been filming the fire rescue people in action, or he/she could have put the camera down from the beginning and help pull the people from the crammed doorway/entrance. Why did you put your camera down?

  • @hanklove4ever Was sued for that.

  • Whoever decided to have that much pyro at a small club was a fucking moron. If anyone died he should be locked up. Also, way to many people in that tiny space. A definite fire trap.

  • @dreamtheater1351

    If anyone died???

  • @partymonsterri Yeah, read the news story about an hour after posting this comment. 95 people.... Very sad, this never should have happened. All a result of mass stupidity on the manager's part for allowing that much pyro. If that was my club I wouldn't have allowed any, it's far too small. What year did this happen?

  • @dreamtheater1351 If anyone died? Dude like 99 people were backed to death in that fire. The bands manager set off the pyro

  • watched this 3 times now and only just noticed the crush at 1:57 in the doors! unbelievable :(

  • If you look closely at 6:16 you can see somebody escape on fire

  • First of all, whoever thought that is was a good idea to have all those pyrotechnics in a nightclub where there is limited space on the stage was a complete idiot. What were they thinking?!

  • If you think about the way those inner doors were facing inward, you'll see they are what caused the crush of people. People were sandwiched in between the inner doors, and there were dozens of people piled behind the doors. There no way to move but backwards and there was fire there. Look at the WTC jumpers. You'd be amazed at what you will involuntarily do if fire is coming. Like jump from a high rise. Or rush in one direction like all of these people did.

  • The loser who walked up to the rail and looked at the people at :2:07 and walked away without helping so infuriates me.

  • I found a video an hour or so before the fire check it out

  • 4:00 "Like OMG my hair!" Stupid bitch, I guess the people who lost their lives got off easy

  • my god, what a horrifying video, this is truely one of the most disturbing things ive seen in quite a while. wow. hard to watch.

  • scary, poor people.

  • with loved ones directly affected by The Station tragedy feel about Rammsteins' use of pyrotechnics during their stage performance (if they're familiar...). It is probably the most intense use of pyros during a show and they too had a small accident at one time. Anyway, God bless everyone. Be safe, play safe, and ROCK-ON !!!.Accidents do happen and life goes on. Thoughts out to all affected by the Station incident, and, Rammstein, keep it thrashing like you do, we love you!!!

  • This unfortunate incident is the reason I now make myself aware of alternate exits in places that have trhe potential for the possibility of this happening, especially concerts, that are generally dark anyway due to the "lightshows" providing the majority of the light. Somewhat in a different "light" however (please excuse the use of word...), I happen to be a huge fan of the band "Rammstein" enough so to travel from the states to Germany early next year. I wonder what those (CONTINUED...)

  • @000Winter000 its called "scripting" people will only do something if they have planned it or have seen someone do it before. this is why everyone goes to the main entrance and not the other exits, because most people were already going towards the main exit so others copied. this is why outside no one did anything until one person broke the script and showed people a new one in which others started helping. more people at the door would only have made it worse anyway.

  • Great White should be banned from performing live anywhere ever again.

  • dont really matter they are all gone but remember brian butler i hope you die begging for help while someone video for you tube you gutless pile of shit. fucking coward. or even better maybe one of your loved ones then you can watch it on you tube as your family member begs for help you scum bag oh but you got the film you piece of shit.

  • @miclassicarcade Actually, if you look closely, the cameraman starts backing away almost immediately along with much of the crowd. Don't think people could have been evacuated any more quickly given how many were there.

  • @miclassicarcade If you look carefully, there were visible flames within 8 seconds of pyro ignition on the upper left side of the stage. No chance, Clancy...

  • fuk joey

  • I honestly beleive had I not of moved to Fla that year,I would've been there,,,So sad..:(

  • So many parents, brothers, sisters, moms and dads lost in that fire!! Very hard to watch -RIP-

  • @bigmike42876 and the coward brian butler might have helped if he was not such a chickenshit coward atleast find a firemean and tell him of those trapped in back in the hall.R.I.P. to those people .

  • @weavhipe Totally agree. He was a coward. What a fuck!! Amen to you brotha!!!

  • @starrocket666 Why can';t this happen at a Bieber concert?

  • Pyro: Definitely Cool!

    Small location: Might be cool

Pyro + small location: Defintely Bad!

  • Everything is done in a habit, you enter one door, you're most likely going to exit out of that door that you come into, being a firefighter myself when i go into a building i'm not aware of, the first thing i'm looking for is alternate exits, and looking at the sprinkler system, it's a habit, something we have to break to avoid a accident like this, there was numerous of exits, and windows they could of escaped through, but as habit goes they all went through the door they came in at.

  • horrible to watch....but im glad i did...i will NEVER enter a club/bar/music venue and not make sure i know were every emergency exit is ever again...my heart goes out to those poor souls who perished this night...anyone know if the woman calling for her husband at 1:30 was inside the wall our outside....ugh...just horrrible..:( RIP!

  • Every owner/manager of every venue/structure that hosts a mass of people should be made (BY LAW) to watch this and take a written test on the video <<to PROOVE they actually watched it. Could any manager, after having watched this, possibly be lax in fire safety/evacuation? So many people lost, so many friends/family devistated so needlessly....

  • @YorksOwn Bible thumpers on this vid talking shit is lame!

  • @Whitevoice14 Your logic is weak cracker. I made a comment on common sense fire safety & you call me a bible thumper. You're channel's weak, you have zero uploads=zero talent. Yet you spout off about speaking with respect & how no one elses opinion matters to you.

BTW: if you think we the people are going to ever be able to throw off the chains of our 'masters' (illuminati, bilderburg, NWO, etc) you better be prepared to join up with some 'minority soldiers'...we just dont have the manpower...

  • @YorksOwn Fuck head I used to make a shit load of vids on many subjects I just got tired of doing it , tired of repeating myself you are so tough btw behind that PC calling me a cracker, I'm the wrong white guy for that trust me on that, so run along with your BS God. You come on here with BS plain and simple!

  • @Whitevoice14 Whatever. Get bent, troll. I just pissed away ten minutes writting you a PM answering some of the SPECIFICS of your crap & I see you're friend locked...how gay. Have a little respect for the families/friends of the people who died in this vid & keep this joust off of hear.

  • @YorksOwn Good waste more time asshole lol I'm not a troll just hate you scumbag

  • @Whitevoice14 Wiki definition: In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion. <<<since YOU engaged me in this crap, I'd say the shoe fits you well....

  • @Whitevoice14 Correct....

  • @YorksOwn Your the one going on a video where people died saying stupid shit that will provoke anger dickhead!

  • @Whitevoice14 In case you missed it, someone else flagged your prior comment as spam. You are clearly a grammatical moron, I cant even register the meaning in half the shit you spout off. The simple FACT is: you called me out on something ridiculous (& you were quite wrong in the first place); I'm finished wasting time with you & will now block your channel. My apologies to all the other folks who had to put up with this inbread garbage....

  • @YorksOwn About time you shut the fuck up! And saying you can't read my shit is just a lame & weak ass insult, I care lesss about your dumb ass!

  • @Whitevoice14 It's a waste of time, trying to talk to idiots like Yorksown! He is just another internet warrior...lol

  • @ymrots11 He said he can't understand me, must can't read well! BTW THIS looks like a club I helped my friend in once , minor the fire lol

  • @Whitevoice14 He read it fine...he's just trying to piss you off! I read his comments and found several grammar errors...he should practice what he preaches! lol

  • @ymrots11 Might want to try harder to piss me off, I heard it all!

  • @Whitevoice14 lol....Very true!

  • brian butler is a gutless coward.may you die begging in a film on youtube .you fucking peice of shit

  • and besides anyone whom would get pleasure from watching such horror really needs to see somebody.so bell 8077 you must be the sorry sob that watched those people die and not put down the camera.dayum i hope you hear those people pleadding for help and may you die begging as well you chicken shit bitch

  • hey bell8077 fuck you bitch i would meet any chicken shit mother fucker like you ant time anywhere tell me that to my face. i would show you sumtin boi

  • Hey weavhipe, You will see them soon you chicken-shit motherfucker!!

  • The best part about this is rock and roll is Satanic music, so right after they burned alive on Earth, all these people went to Hell and burned some more.

    Sing, cuckoo! Sing cuckoo!

  • @Lassannn "Judge not, lest ye too stand judgement." How do you, oh mortal man, dare to presume the judgement of god, even with rock music? So many of my country "men" are illiterate to the dynamics of KARMA.

  • @YorksOwn Ummm...there is no God. That is my judgment. Anyone thinking there is one after this horror is mentally retarded. Of course, there are many worse disasters in the world, but this one will do to show how utterly stupid it is to believe. Tell me a reason God allowed this to happen...I'm waiting....

  • @Lassannn I'm a Christian and find what you wrote sickening. Have a heart.

  • @TimfromMKE Agreed.

  • Comment removed

  • @TimfromMKE No, he's right. This proves that there is NO GOD. Deal with it, Christ lover.

  • two things everyone was blinded bythe pyros for sure then the light on camera.i dont think i would have keeped on videoing.if he only saved one person it woulda been worth it.but this coward will live with the cries in his head knowing that the only person he saved was his chicken shit ass.when you read this know that me and most the world think you are a coward.

  • @weavhipe Chain the doors! Don't let em out! Fuck em fuck em fuck em fuck em!

  • @weavhipe Please note that on the way out this cameraman kicks out a panel next to the front door. As soon as he exits, he runs around to the hole he just made and films a fellow jumping out of it. No telling how many more lived because of his action, especially since the majority of the deaths were around the front door area. Also, I think most of the people who died were probably unconscious within two minutes from smoke inhalation. Run back in? Nope. Nothing more he could do.

  • the camera man is a coward.but in his video he took there are a lot of heros in his video.he will die many deaths from being chickenshit those people in the alley where begging for help .put the camera down and help chickenshit bastard

  • Watch out, you might get what you're after

Cool babies, strange but not a stranger

    I'm an ordinary guy

    Burning down the house

  • I feel sorry also for all the first responders who could do little for

those trapped in the hallway back into the building! And

THEN had to assist in later digging them out! I know they

are professionals and all, but just imagine the terrible

nightmares those folks must have! BTW, the guy who set up

and set off the pyro, Dan Biechele is seen at 5:59 helping

untangle the fire hose. I think he tripped over that person

lying on the ground as well.

  • There is nothing more heartbreaking than this video. So many years and so many miles removed, I still cry every time I see this tragedy. I cannot listen to Great White without thinking of those affected by The Station. I pray that this never happens again...

  • @miclassicarcade They thought it was part of the show. :(

  • @miclassicarcade done things differently. I respect your opinion but I still consider him a coward. I really don't think any fire department could have done anything. It went up so fast and would have been impossible for them to get there in time. Truly a tradgedy.

  • @outlaw8010 in your opinion the fire department couldnt have done anything. So this 1 guy with the camera is supposed to save 400 people? 1 more person at the entrance is just 1 more person in the way. it was a clusterfuck. its 1 guy! Sacrificing one persons help would be totally worth it to capture exactly what happened on film. Im not saying he couldnt have been more courageous, thats obvious. But without the film this would only be something you heard about. plus it eliminates speculation.

  • @miclassicarcade The main thing that bothers me is the fact that he was walking backwards and filming which was basically getting in everyones way to evacuate. He was actually found guilty of this in a lawsuit. I'm sure he didnt think that it would turn out the way it did but unfortunately it did. I think he could have joined the other people at the front trying to get people out since he was one of the first out. I'm willing to bet that if he would of had a wife or child in there he would have

  • i've heard stories about this accident, but never actually saw any footage... this is some scary shit.

  • @wasabiluver Very curious as to why you say this. I had never seen this vid until a few weeks ago, truly a horrifying thing. Some of the details in the wiki article, combined with the vid itself are very 'odd'.

If you have time, feel free to throw me your thoughts on this. Could you just send it in a PM, there's been a pack of trolls starting shit on this comment page...Thanks

  • ぎゃー

  • Whoever taped this video is a pussy motherfucker. To tape this and not try to help. What a coward!!! I wish I knew who you were you fucking loser. You are truly pathetic. How could you live with yourself. Asshole

  • @outlaw8010 I'm almost certain that this wasn't him. I've seen several other users that have the same footage.

  • @outlaw8010 its documentation, which actually may have been used as evidence in the victims' cases against the club and the band. also it has gone on to be used in teachings of fire safety. not to mention, this is 7 minutes, and at the end of the video, he sets the fuckin thing down. i think we can call it safe to assume that this cowardly loser asshole went to assist the wounded, relax

  • @IArePhluffhead Thats funny if you watch it, there is a guy laying on the ground at the 6:00 mark. Go ahead and look. People are stepping over the top of him. Guess he wasnt assisting the wounded was he!!!! Like I said....cowardly loser! I guess you shouldnt assume things!!

  • @outlaw8010 and are you not assuming that after he set the camera down, he just stood there and watched?

  • @IArePhluffhead Yes I am assuming he did nothing. He did nothing during the fire to help. By the time he set the camera down I'm sure he would have just been in the way of fire/rescue. He didnt help the guy laying on the ground screaming for help at the 6:00 mark. I'm sure he was getting himself ready to do televison interviews(which he did) at about that time. And the only "hard evidence" which he filmed was in the first minute of the video. Everything thing else was overkill.

  • @outlaw8010 As a Fire Marshall I can assure you that the man with the camera could not have helped a burn victim or wasn't capable not being medically trained to assist and would do more harm to a person than help. If you think his camera work was selfish and coward I think you are wrong and is quite common for people in shock to continue what they were doing, and in this case the footage he captured has helped Fire agencies around the world prevent this from happening again. Not overkill.G'day.

  • @MrTrolololl Your obviously no fire marshall. Nice try though. I'm an EMT myself and even if he wasnt trained...he still could have helped comfort the stressed or wounded. And it is quite common for people that are selfish to continue what they are doing. he wasnt in shock. He knew what was going on. And with the technology and training available today for fire agencies all this video shows is how fast a fire can spread. Its not rocket science my friend. Very much overkill! Camera guy=coward!!

  • @outlaw8010 I'll make it short since your ignorance has no ceiling. 1) I am a Fire Marshall 2) The video has shown Fire Agencies and how suppression systems can be better utilized 3) This is a video shown in High Schools round the world to show the importance of Fire Safety, Crowd Control, and always know your egress...you are right its not rocket science, its fire, and its not so easy to put the wet stuff on the red stuff sometimes. You sound like a nice diaper wearing buff. G'day.

  • @outlaw8010 It's a tough call. But please note that on his way out of the bar, the cameraman kicked out a panel next to the front entrance and upon his escape immediately filmed a fellow jumping out the hole he just made (massive black smoke already pouring forth). Since the majority of the people who died did so around the front door area, he may have helped a few more people escape out that hole before the smoke overcame them - which was almost immediate. Armchair quarterbacking is easy...

  • @beeroosterm Thats why you shouldnt armchair quaterback yourself. I see no proof of him kicking out a panel and even if he did, all that did was add oxygen to fuel the fire. Mistake. The guy that appeared to be coming out of that panel was simply ducking under the smoke as he ran around the building. If he would have came out of that panel he would have been gasping for air not to mention no one from the inside would have been able to see that the panel was out with that type of smoke.

  • @outlaw8010 1:29 was when he kicked out the panel. Thought you'd like to know.

  • @beeroosterm I like how about the 2 minute mark he is about 5 feet away from the people stuck in the doorway and just keeps on filming. Brian Butler was a selfish asshole. Its pretty obvious all he wanted was footage for the television station he worked for.

  • @IArePhluffhead All the rest of the video showed was a club on fire and people dying. Oh and wait, It did film people that were actually trying to help people get out unlike himself. 1 minute of evidence, 6 minutes of cowardness.

  • @outlaw8010 okay for one, its cowardice. and secondly, notice there are even firemen stepping over the guy at 6 minutes. maybe he was gonna be aight

  • @IArePhluffhead HaHa!, I'm glad you have PhD in spelling grammar. And of course the firemen are going to step over him. I'm thinking the fire is the priority for them. The medics or perhaps some bystanders could assist the guy on the ground unless you have a camera then you just keep filming and don't help I guess. And I believe it is "all right" and not "aight" Mr. scholar. You also need to use a period at the end of your sentence. HaHa!!

  • No matter how many times I see this video, it still takes my breath away. From guys singing on the stage to the place fully engulfed in flames in less than five mins. All those dead people, such a loss.
