  • Really, Mexico? Really?

  • The best thing is how he just walks in like it's perfectly normal and the professor doesn't find this bizarre at all.

  • There at least was a good discussion here, like the Professor mentioning of how humanity would attempt to destroy themselves with a tremendous power that we gained from nature with Samson/El Santo reminding us it's nuclear energy as well as giving us some backstory. XD

  • This is up in my top 5 episodes of MST3K, just for that freaking wrestler.

  • They had to rename El Santo, because "The Saint" was already taken in English. (Leslie Charteris's detective hero, played in the movies by George Sanders and his brother Tom Conway and various other folks.)

  • Why did they had to rename him Sampson? <_< God, watching these horrid american dubs is borderline depressing. Either dub it well, or don't dub it at all.

  • my favorite moments in mst3k are when whats happening onscreen is so absurd that they cant think of any witty comments and all they can do is just laugh.

  • i love crows laugh when samson enters

Servo: i feel silly did i overdress (lol

  • This clip can not convey just how hilarious Samson's entrance into the movie was. For the first ten minutes it was a cheesy but straight vampire movie with castles and blood drinking and ANCHUENT PROPHESIES. Then, without warning, a Mexican wrestler in a mask and a sequined cape walks onto the scene. The first time seeing it, it was pants-pissing funny.

  • "Should I get into my costume?"

I so much want to barge into a room wearing this get up.

  • Dont mess with el Santo!!

Batman and James Bond, have not powers neither!

    Viva la leyenda del Santo!!

  • I first saw this on MST3k, when Samson walked in, I just fell off my chair laughing - it was the last thing I'd expected too. I was just... OMG.

My laughing was so loud and similar to those of Crow and co that I'd masked it. Listening back I had to see this scene sooo many times. Brilliant upload, perfect cropping of the best part of this Riff.

I still laugh every time I see him walk in.

  • Haha, same here. I laughed so hard the first time I saw it.

  • I forgot my bifocals.

  • Are his nipple's painted on?

  • HAHAHAHA! Brilliant!

  • Crow's laugh during Samsom/Santo's entrance said it all. Priceless.

  • any story with a prophecy is a bad story!

  • what corny hero.He just leaves through the door insted of like flying or something.

  • Because he's supposed to be a wrestler with no powers.

  • and they asked him to save the guys daughter and fight against monster with no powers!

  • That's supposed to be the point of the whole movie franchise. He's such a good wrestler he doesn't need powers.

  • Crow's cackle gets me every time, and you can hear Mike trying to contain his laughter. this is one of the best moments from the show.

  • Is his cape "Strapped" around his arms?" How "Super Hero-ish", isn't that the equivalent of a "clip on" tie.

  • What makes this funny is that there is almost no indication that the hero is a mexican wrestler. He only shows up about halfway through the movie. I laughed quite a bit when he popped in the door. A wrestler was the last thing I expected to see.

  • Sampson vs. the Vampire Women! Woot

  • The Dub for Santo Strangely fits his original Voice...

  • Should I get into my costume? Genius!

  • Love how everybody cracked up when El Santo showed up. "I feel sort of silly right now. Did I overdress?"
