@121mendez lol, the closest I've ever got was like 4th. Try doing it in practice mode. It's a lot harder when you can boost on the first lap.

im having problems with story mode. i really want to beat story mode but i cant get past chapter three in 1st and I hear story mode just keeps getting wors. any advice? i dont even know how to snake.

You can do it without snaking. Just practise and you'll get there. Then you have Hard and Very Hard to go.

Rainbow Phoenix was my character for this Track. First Time I finished 1st I couldn't believe it. you just have to know your characters and the Track. An easy way to win would be using that big jump at 00:33 as a shortcut. boast as much as possible and you will jump your way down to the bottom you should stay in front for a long time.

Attacking is so stupid in this race. Unless you are trying to kill Mrs. Arrow (who always seems to win this race) don't attack. To get first place, my strategy would be to take the left on the first split (reducing the chance to hit the wall) and right on the second split (same reason). Then just boost like crazy through the last part. I don't fear the last jump because i always seem to come back on course like the other racers after maniacally boosting using Super Piranha and Deep Claw.

I'm the same as everyone else-I hate this track! Just beat Diamond Cup on Master for the first time yesterday w/ Mighty Hurricane. Was in the lead by ~75 pts going into this one, so I was able to win with 26th place.

Anyone here have any tips to help me win at this track on master without snaking. That is the only track I cannot win at with the Little Wyvern (yea i know the machine sucks but I like it). My highest finish there is fourth, but the track is so frustrating! I had the race won once, came around the final corner to take the checkers and hit a bump in the track while boosting and lifted off the track and went into the abyss!! Someone please help!

I just happened to have come in 2nd place with Little Wyvern without snaking (I dont know how too well) and scored 1st with Mighty Hurricane. First off, you can't hard hit ANY WALLS! Minor scratches that dont slow you down are fine. Second, NEVER boost at the start of the final turn. Because it shoots up and levels. Doing during the middle, using R to stay away from walls. Third, on the split parts, go right path then left path for the shortest turns. Boost off jump near right side to fly.

Thanks for the advice. You must be pretty good to have gotten 2nd with Little Wyvern. The best I ever got was 4th (although like I said in my other comment I had this race won once). Also do you know if boosting around the middle of the final corner can kill you, because I think it has killed me before. That corner is so frustrating, because you can either get a lot of speed from hitting a bump right with a boost, or you can die from hitting one wrong. I just wish I knew where the spots are.

I came close 3 nights ago. Came in 2nd as Roger, lost to Dai San Gen. The problem is the AI handles the final turn really well. Most players that boost there fly off. The AI boost, bend thier noses down and use hard rights to get back on. Then the physics cause them to bounce ahead of you.

Yup, and that's the only real problem. I've only managed to make that turn a few times with the Mighty Hurricane. It takes some skill and a lot of luck. Other than that final turn, there really is no problem. Just worry about the AI.

Well when I came in first place as Mighty Hurricane, the only pass I got was on the 2nd lap by Queen Meteor. She took advantage of the slice on the final turn and landed near me. But she only stayed in first for about 1 second. Afterwards, I ended up beating second place (Queen Meteor) by about 1.240 seconds.

From practice, Dai San Gen, Mrs Arrow and sometimes Dr Stewart are the real threats on this course. And the cars that also spin attack (since they place high in prev course).

Psycho, the Dark Schnieder DOESNT suck. That course is actually hard on master. I used handlers like Mighty Typhoon and even Rainbow Pheonix and I could do no better than 14th.

But I accumulated enough kills and points to keep first place.

Same here. You DEFINITELY need to come into this race with some insurance, especially if you're insane enough to try this cup with a machine like SILVER RAT.

Dark Schneider is good on 40% max speed with this track, i won using this set up.

when I played this cup on master, after the 4th track I was like 120 points in front of my rival! so I could relaxe trough the whole 5th track.. I'm so bad at this track.. I became 28th
