And this monster is full grown and cloverfield is a baby, plus this one is intellegent and magnetic. it might be that abrams is cleverly disguising a cloverfield trilogy by not connecting the films with one another. super 8 being the prequel showing the creature at a younger age trying to escape the planet. then cloverfield has the creature or another of its kind (but an adult version) crashing into the ocean and going on a rampage. i don't remember but was it mentioned if the creature was killed at the end of cloverfield?

When they're under the bridge at the end and he says "help us". I thought he said it a bit strange so i went back and played the audio backwards and when backwards it very very clearly says "It's still alive".

So is the Cloverfield monster really looking for its mother in Cloverfield? Isn't that what they said in some of the extras of Cloverfield? Either way, this is obviously the same monster (same as at least 1 of 3 in Cloverfield, I'm guessing the one that's downtown based on its build.) But my friend I saw it with and I were thinking maybe this is the mother in Super 8? Funny how we went from thinking it was CF related, to not, and then you see it and voila. Nice work JJ.

This movie is produced by Steven Speilberg, written and directed by JJ Abrahams. The story was created by Speilberg and Abrahams together and it is based on a completely original old school idea about a classic monster and what is captured on tape with a Super 8 Camera. It has nothing to do with Cloverfield which was produced (not written) by JJ Abrams and was directed by an unknown guy Matt reeves, this video is completely inaccurate and proves nothing.
