I find taking objects away from such a place disrespectful.
Such a site, such a ship, with such history behind it, is getting ripped apart gradually. If everyone has that attitude of "its ok to take things away from Titanic" there will eventually be no Titanic left. It will just be ripped apart. I find it quite disrespectful

I wonder if in the hundreds of years to come, the artefacts which have been brought to the surface will still be regarded with such prestige. Probably not. As generations succeed one another the artefacts may become less important and then probably not cared for as well as they are today. For this reason I think they should be left at the bottom of the ocean because its better to respect the titanic than to make some quick money from the hype and fascination.

Why don't they rebuild the Titanic and all its artifacts and present them as a museum itself? They know the kind of clothes people wore at that time by the photographs and all. Then they wouldn't need to pick stuff up from the real place itself.

The museum idea is great. But really there already Titanic museums all over the U.S. and in some countries that were touched by the sinking of the ship. Some organists and pianists are playing songs in honor of the ship.

We have the largest underwater marine sanctuary by NOAA in my town. I have met him more than once. And gives lectures. And when you go down it is like being right in and on these ships. The technology is so awesome and I agree that with Titanic and large screen televisions we can always go back to Titanic in all her glory for many generations to come.

it has only been robbed because of its value because its something from titanic but who has a right to take something that doesnt belong to them, its great we can see titanic but sometimes i wish she wasnt discovered so that tianic and her victims could still rest in piece
