My point in this discourse was to point out the parallel between PostModern thought and the Matrix shaping the reality perceived by humans in the movie. PostModernists are often unaware of their presuppositions which are frequently contradictory.
New Age films often allegorize utilizing Christian symbolism. Symbolism is loose, not exact, so it easily confuses yielding a Christianized sense to New Age.
You're comments on the Matrix made sense. And in the past I saw that movie as an increbile force in deceiving people into a unified religious faith. It seemed to have the power to appeal to all faiths, except for a biblical Chritian faith. However, I saw a video at a church meetin gthat SHOCKED me. So, be warned. They showed "The Secret", and it was pure New Age religion... my buddy calls it witchcraft and I can't find reason to disagree.
