This is the most brilliant looking re-imagining of a franchise I have ever seen in my life. From the art-deco/neo gothic Limbo City, to the inner city eastern punk Dante. Change is a very beautiful thing. And to anybody who is critical of this re-imagining...why? I have played every Devil May Cry game religiously and I have seen the same Dante for over a decade. When things dont change with the times, they loose steam. Develop to the hilt Ninja Theory! Make the Critics ashamed for doubting you.

This is the most brilliant looking re-imagining of a franchise I have ever seen in my life. From the art-deco/neo gothic Limbo City, to the inner city eastern punk Dante. Change is a very beautiful thing. And to anybody who is critical of this re-imagining...why? I have played every Devil May Cry game religiously and I have seen the same Dante for over a decade. When things dont change with the times, they loose steam. Develop to the hilt Ninja Theory! Make the Critics ashamed for doubting you.

to be honest, i play dmc since the first game on ps2 and yes i think white haired dante kick's ass. But he couldnt always have been cool and super muscled and white haired. He hasn't always had al his powers. btw when i look his gun/sword handling style. Brutal. Sadistic. Dante. but hearing the WHAT IS YOUR NAME my name is dante you could indeed say that they are trying to clone dante. Those robots look futuristic so maybe this isnt young dante either way looks arent the only thing that matter.

You know what? I take back most things about this trailer. I'm blown now, so I can think clearly... This is waay too much change to be considered dmc. I mean I still wanna check it out, and it might not be bad, hell it looks great if it were under a different title, but it's not dmc. It's kinda like Tim burton's batman's to Christopher nolan's. This is Dante in his teens from what ive read and seen and it also looks like he doesnt have his powers yet and if you look in the trailer he does slowly get his white hair the look for him is ehh it could be better thats for sure but im assuming when he gets his white hair he'll have most of his powers

the puppets were demonicly possesed, the blobs were some wierd type of demon thing. the aliens......i don't remember the aliens.
1: sparda wasn't killed, and Dante didnt even know him.
2: his brother wasn't killed at this time.
3: his mother, i'll grant you that.
the smoking was something they shouldnt have done, it doesnt really fit with his character overall.

no Nero is NOT a reincarnation of sparda, for two reasons.
1; sparda had a demon's soul, one that loved yes but stil demonic, thus can't be put into a human.
2: if he was he would be alot more powerful a demons power is passed on by the soul
so reincarnation thing is out

Man, they could've at least kept his blue eyes. Oh and, I was reading on devil may cry wikia and it said that Dante has always been Dante, but that he changed his name to Tony Redgrave at one point - but then back to Dante again. Devil may cry wikia also said that DMC isn't a reboot but a prequel. So, this is either a game with a really creative puzzle behind it with a confusing trailer - or - it's a just a stupid prequel made by ninja theory that doesn't make any sense.
