@alygishere It's funny that you act like you know what happens when someone is shot in the face, but your description is nowhere near reality. A bullets entry wound is only slightly larger than the bullet's diameter. The exit would, which would be in the back of the head, is where the bigger damage would be. The face would not be torn apart, it would have a bullet sized wound in the front, and a much larger hole in the back.

For the practical blood I bought a whole bunch of this fake blood called "Bottle of Blood" during the Halloween season. I've tried the whole corn syrup thing, but I could never get it to look good enough. The great thing about the "Bottle of Blood" is that it dries a dark brownish red, very much like real blood.

I totally agree. This was done a few years back. I've gone over to using strictly practical blood. I still use digital muzzle flashes, cause it's easier than getting permits to use blanks. But I like to have an actually physical object on screen when ever possible.

Actually when the human body is hit by a bullet, the blood sprays from behind, very little blood comes out of the front. Good video none the less.

I think everyone's used to traditional movie gun shots, where the hole appears a full second after the shot. In reality the hole would appear, to out eyes, at the same time as the flash.

ok, the bullet wound was drawn either in premiere or in photoshop, and the BLOOD was smoke with a red color. Am I right.

Wow, sorry I took so long to reply. Um, no, sorry well the blood is a smoke effect colored red but here I go. The wound was practical, I used photoshop to erase the wound until it was to appear, the flash was drawn by me with photoshop. The blood is smoke that I filmed and keyed than turned red.
