Jennifer Hudson is proof that you don't need to win in order to be a success. She is probably more successful than most of the winner. Carrie is a huge success, and so is Kelly, but that's about it. Pia Toscano will be the next Jennifer Hudson

The only reason that I watch half of the season was because of Jhennifer, for some reason she remind me of a teacher I had in Puerto Rico, plus I loved her voice.! My favorite year ever. Fantasia's win was the most powerful AI win ever!! Problem with the finals is that when the public votes, they split votes. Fantasia, LaToya and Hudson (diva powerhouses) each claim a similar voting base (powerhouse divas) and Diana DeGarmo attracts AI's watching base (midwest/country fans) and hence, we never get to see Kelly v. Tamyra, Latoya v. Fantasia, or any of the finals we should. Sad, but true.

Personally, I think JHud, LaToya, and Fantasia are the three best singers this competition has ever seen in terms of sheer vocal ability. Each one was different but they all had such power!! What a show this Final 3 would have made! Can you imagine? They would have blown the rafters off that place.

The others were cute and average singers, but those four were killin it on the stage! The competition honestly to me were out of those four. The only person I saw that might could have hung with them were Leah Labelle, but she was young and wasn't quite polished like the rest of them, but she could sing!

In my opinion, they should have stopped after this one...others may say that American Idol should have stopped after Carrie Underwood, but really, this season should have been the end all be all. season 3 was one of the worst seasons ever! It is second only to season 5 which was much worse. The best season was either season 2 or 8. Those seasons had some amazing singers.
The best idol season ever. They had really great singers that year. When my phone would ring on a Tuesday during idol you could talk to me. Idol needs another season 3 again for this idol.
The rest of the seasons I didn't care too much for one way or the other, though Carrie Underwood is probably the best contestant to ever win on the show.
Beautiful & amazing. I like the fact that they left the 3 divas to sing together at the end, perfectly together! And of the men, george huff outshone them! Many have commented on here that this was the best season yet & i agree with this, cos this was the season where you had several potential winners not just 1 or 2 to make it predictable & boring. I love & miss the divas plus george. Gonna be getting huff's album soon.
This starts off with the best male voice of the 12 and finishes with the best female voices, abosultely perfect, idol, you got that right! They pumped up Huff's mic at 1.06-1.21, real nice!
i just dont see how jennifer and latoya didnt end up in the top 2,3,or 4. i just dont understand. now dont get me wrong if one of them had have been in the top two i wouldve been happy but then that might have messed Fantasia all up but either way i still think that Fantasia wouldve won because she has an undenible gift.
How can people say this was the best season? It produced the worst top 3 and 4 overall then any other season. If you compare the top 4 from this season to any other season, it's not even close.
I don't think it was the best, but it is certainly up there. This season produced Jennifer Hudson who is phenominal!, Fantasia is still doing her thing in the R&B world and has performed for such greats as Patti Labelle, Aretha...

Many have commented on here that this was the best season yet & i agree with this, cos this was the season where you had several potential winners not just 1 or 2 to make it predictable & boring. I love & miss the divas plus george. Gonna be getting huff's album soon.

This starts off with the best male voice of the 12 and finishes with the best female voices, abosultely perfect, idol, you got that right! They pumped up Huff's mic at 1.06-1.21, real nice!

i just dont see how jennifer and latoya didnt end up in the top 2,3,or 4. i just dont understand. now dont get me wrong if one of them had have been in the top two i wouldve been happy but then that might have messed Fantasia all up but either way i still think that Fantasia wouldve won because she has an undenible gift.

How can people say this was the best season? It produced the worst top 3 and 4 overall then any other season. If you compare the top 4 from this season to any other season, it's not even close.

I don't think it was the best, but it is certainly up there. This season produced Jennifer Hudson who is phenominal!, Fantasia is still doing her thing in the R&B world and has performed for such greats as Patti Labelle, Aretha...
