To me:

Japanese one gives off a more mischievous sound (and there are a lot of great characters voiced by girls), like he's playing with you

The English, on the other hand, gives off the more evil, rough and dirty side. His voice is much raspier than the clear Japanese voice.

In other words, both voices help fulfill my fangirl desires... lol ^__^

While i do agree with you guys, I like both versions of both of the characters Malik and Yami no Bakura. In a way I like to think of the English dub in general a mixed blessing--if a majority of the YuGiOh fanbase has never seen the English dub, we would never have been introduced to the Japanese version. Also I LOVE Malik/Yami no Malik's Japanese voice (voiced by Tetsuya Iwanaga) - his voice is so sexy!! :)
