  • How great to have a ballerina pass on the knowledge she has of these beautiful ballets.

  • very nice port de bras and footwork, rhythmically perfect, just a little bit old-fashioned

  • Choreography is so different here compared to the Kirov version, but Danilova surely teached a more authentic version. Love the musicality!

  • where is Cindy now? I'd love to make contact with her again. we were great friends during our SAB days...

  • Cindy is an even more beautiful person!! WOW! Go Cindy! Simply beautiful! I'm so proud to call her my friend!

  • Thats My Mom!

  • the dancer is Cindy Drummer at this is at SAB, 1979. The ballet is Le Pavillion d'Armide, which was choreographed for Vaslav Nijinsky and Tamara Karsavina, but Fokine, I believe. It premiered at the Theatre du Chatelet around 1909.

I was in this production and movie with Cindy as we were both students at SAB (School of American Ballet) at the time.

  • By the way I think this video comes from the same documentary!!

  • Can somebody help me out? Around 1990 I saw a documentary on tv with Alexandra Danilova in it teaching a young ballerina, I think it was a student from the Julliard school of ballet, the famous variation from Raymonda. I would love to see it again. Does anybody know where to find it, is it on you tube at all?

  • Who is dancing ? It's a wonderful take on the variation.
