sometimes I wonder if she's singing along with a prerecorded track or if they dub over her voice afterwards before it airs.

I know for the ABC special for In The Zone sources said they dubbed over both the live vocals and the live band music with the album versions of the songs. You can tell from some of the jerky editing.

Yep, I totally agree, I hate it when they do that though, she may not be the best singer in the world but I mean if she's singing a slow song live Everytime and she's doing it live, I don't think they should go dubbing, that way people get the wrong message and think she's using playback in everything including ballads plus do be honest I like hearing Britney live I know it's rare but when we get it I enjoy it.
