ohhhh, ok, but can you run a normal gas truck engine on this 100% veggie oil?? and if so, do you need a fuel pump to pressurize the incoming oil to the injectors? ive heard a lot of this mod, and ive been thinking of using the oil from mc donalds(if they let me take it) and local sub shops. do you need to add anything to the oil to make it combustable or is the heat all you need?? thanks for your time :)
how can the engine start on the oil?? the exhaust takes a little time to heat up the oil to combustible. for the electric pre heater, youll probably need an extra car battery to heat the oil electrically untill the assembly is hot from exhaust. good project as long as the soldier doesnt let go ;)

@bikr1975 This is not an exhaust heat-exchanger.
It is a coolant heat-exchanger.
To start with the hot oil I use an electric heater to heat up the pump to 100f before starting.
I use 2 deep cycle batteries to run the 750 watt heaters.
I can start my chevy on 100% veggie in 20f outside temp.
