Is she still there cookin? Love that lady, I can tell her food is good, she put her whole heart into her food 50% traditonal cookin plus 50% love. Would like to pay her a visit when I go JA.
i think ive been there once when i was going to kingston from sav on a school trip lol not sure do it was a long time agao. and seeing this made me miss my country alot
And in faith's pen I love going to shop #10 =] idk if the same guys are there but they ere nice they gave me a free festival along with the bought jerk =]
Research it all. Especially the soil type and climate etc. But Europe has strict laws on fruits, vegetables etc. coming in from outside of Europe now so how are you going to get the seeds?
If I ever got my own place in California let say (I'm not a fan of Florida) I'd like to grow an ackee tree, hopefully that can work.
Jamaican culture and people are so beautiful. I love the way they speak English. I love their food!! Thanks to recipies on internet and a local Caribbean grocery, I can cook my own yummy Jamaican foods. I made me some curry goat with rice and peas last night, cooked with the coconut milk!! LOL. I can't wait to visit Jamaica one day.

I thought the national dish was ackee and salft fish
jetjet360 1 year ago
@jetjet360 it is. She added the breadfruit because ackee & saltfish goes well with roasted breadfruit (for breakfast)

The best is when they roast the corn on the cob on a grill along the road side out there, that's better than the boiled ones.

Jamaican food is some of the best but no mannish water or cow cod for me please! LOL Them lot come from the suspect part of the animal!
