El Paso Tigua Indians dancing at the State Capitol

Tigua are pueblo people...they are the far southern group along with the now extinct Tompiro people...they chose to go with the Spanish after the revolt...and they have Tigua Indians to this day...they are pueblo people...get your history straight

I graduated from Ysleta HIgh School in 1975. I remember some of the Tigua Indians who attended YHS. I remember one male in particular who stood out because he looked 100% indigenous. He was very dark, had long jet black hair, and could have passed for a Apache. They tried to get him to ride the horse at the pep rallies.
