Chow has been the most steadfast supporter of US war resisters in the House of Commons. Her support has been invaluable. If anyone is not "just talk" it's Olivia Chow!! In fact the MAJORITY of MPs in (pre- 2011 election) supported war resisters, and now the entire opposition does.

jaba987 - it's been a lot more than just talk - and a great deal of action - from many Members of Parliament from all across Canada and all the opposition political parties in Canada. So far, the Harper government has not acted on the majority opinion in support of Iraq War resisters in Canada.

Chow introduced a bill in parliament against immigration reform, how about she does so in support of war resisters, talk is cheap

@jaba987 She brought forward TWO motions which passed in Parliament by a MAJORITY in 2008 and 2009. In 2010, she backed and the NDP co-sponsored a bill in Parliament which was very narrowly defeated by Harper's Conservatives. Check a few other videos on this channel to see evidence of the two historic bills passed by all opposition parties in 2008 and 2009. Harper's government simply ignored Parliament and the wishes of over two-thirds of Canadians in support of Iraq War resisters.
