Avatar wasn't great at all. To even put it in the same breath as QT is silly. Avatar was your standard messianic story we here time and again. It's not a story, it's a situation. A story unfolds and evolves. Like Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. Those are stories that unfold in pieces. You get all of Avatar in the first ten minutes of the movie.

I think what it is is the lack of the possibility of peaceful coexistence among Tarantino's movie characters. Usually, they have all killed or badly dismembered each other by the end.

The "fans" that use that language in such a hateful context are just bigots, plain and simple. Tarantino's razor-sharp dialogue clevery satirises racism, anti-semitism and homophobia. This is clearly lost on numpties like Mr Landrum. Indeed Tarantino's on record as being a fan of 70s black cinema and v. gay film-makers like Visconti and John Waters. Let's all just love movies, like QT, and lose the hate.

It's from the last segment of Four Rooms. Robert Rodriguez did the third part and Tarantino did the fourth and final part. Those segments were great but you might as well fast forward through the complete first half of the film because it is complete garbage. Lol
