Michael Mcconohie was a MUCH better Kel'thuzad. Especially considering that hes done so many other recognizable voice works. THIS voice, who happens to be the same guy who did Tirion Fordring, is much unlike the original Kel'thuzad which is the one hardcore Warcraft veterans remember. Since Mcconohie did his voice in both Reign of Chaos AND WoW, it was a good fit. And since Wrath has attracted too many new and young players, this horrible and irrecognizable change has gone nearly unnoticed.

Maybe I phrased my comment incorrectly. What I mean to say is that there is TOO MUCH of an echo in the voice. If it wasn't so much of an echo that it sounds like it was doubletracked by someone with 5k latency it would be better. I still think the laugh on this guy is better than the original, and that with less of an echo this voice would be awesome.

Michael McConnohie voiced both Kel'thuzad and Uther in wc3. If he couldn't reprise his role as Kel'thuzad, it's because Blizzard has become fucking cheap. Arthas' VA in wc3, Justin Gross, didn't return for WotLK because Blizzard offered him an "embarrassingly low amount of money. The more money they made off of WOW, the less they wanted to pay their actors."

The reason they changed his voice is because the original voice was the actual normal Kel'Thuzad and in this one Kel'Thuzad was resurected by the Lich King by pure unholy energy thats why his voice is changed

post-WotLK Kel was the first voice I heard, and I loved it. I went back to pre-WotLK and found I enjoyed that voice as well. Post captures a low guttural voices perfectly that is befitting of Kel's status as a sorceror, but pre captures the commanding presence of Arthas's main general. If they could combine the two it would be brilliant. "Minions, servants, soldiers of the cold dark! Obey the call of Kel'Thuzad!" "The dark void awaits you!" I get chills every time. XD

I'm the opposite. I love new Kel'thuzad voice, but then ew lich King voice sucks. But I guess it's logical in lore:

Kel'thuzad was destroyed and resurrected with greater powers and more intelligent, plus he's a lich, he should sound the part.

And the Lich King. Back Pre-BC it was suppose to be that it was only a few years after Arthas merged with Ner'zhul. So their voices were still the same, just merged. Now a few years later, Ner'zhul has taken over more, so he sounds more like an Orc.

I belive myself to know at least to of the bosses awaiting inside Icecrown, except from the Lich King himself. I belive theise two bosses to be Kel'Thussard (since he says that he yet again will be back) and Bolvar (i think thats the right name, the guy from the Wrathgate) since during the Yogg Saron encounter the lich king say something about resistance and tortoring a prisoner and the prisoners voice is indeed very similar 2 Bolvar's.
