  • what's the name of the song??? is this from the album break like the wind??

  • @lamecasuelas2

Diva Fever is the name of the song... And yes it is from the album Break like the wind....

  • Rick Parnell was also Mick Shrimpton in the movie. Played with Atomic Rooster before tap.

  • rick parrell is the drummer

  • Viv savage is missed.

  • I'm not sure who the drummer is either. But I hope he rests in peace

  • trevor with his passport could go anywhere if i was the government !

  • The funny thing is... Spinal Tap are probably better than 95% of the hard rock bands going around today. And I'm being serious... they actually are a fucking good rock group!

  • @yellingelk I agree.Musically Big Bottom, Majesty of Rock, Gimme some money and some others are way superior than many trash vomit produced by many famous pro bands. And Infact Nigel Tufnel isn't that bad a guitarist either.....

  • LMAO at Derek and David during Nigel's solo !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That's me in the front row with the really hot girl. She was WILD!!!

well, not really I wasn't even there. I just watched it on youtube and made it all up.

  • I saw this tour and it really was awesome. Universal Ampitheatre in LA. The band was very tight too! Great show.

This drummer looks A LOT like none other than Mick Shrimpton, who toured with Tap on the "Smell the Glove Tour." He spontaneously combusted on the final show of that tour during "Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You" to be replaces by Joe "Mama" Bess for the Japanese tour. I am telling you though, I am 99% sure this is Mick Shrimpton.

The real question: WHAT HAPPENED TO VIV SAVAGE?

  • This should be released officially...

  • haha did he wax his legs? rofl

  • I was expecting Nigel to pull out a cello but instead he get Horse shoes and Tennis balls!! That's pure talent!!

  • incredible drummer

  • so sad that all their drummers didn't stay alive for a long time. this one really kicks ass. hope he had a little bit more luck... ;-)

  • Nigel's pet ferret! HAHA!

  • Is that hilarious scene with the guys doing mundane activities supposed to be a parody of the dream sequences from Zep's "The Song Remains the Same"? haha.

  • @LadyEdgar maybe, it looks more to me like they all left and went off doing things while nigel did his solo, maybe a nod to the old school 40 minute drawn out guitar solo lol pointing out you probably could go eat something in a restaurant or get a facial and still get back in time before its over; )

  • That was exactly the joke. Led Zeppelin actually thought what they were doing was cool. Needless to say, they were idiots, too. Led Zeppelin, Neal Peart... what the hell is wrong with you people? This is Spinal Tap!

  • @IshadaKatzteilov yes i got that lol thats why i SAID IT, thanks for telling me i got the joke lol and as for spinal tap, fuck spinal tap, i hate spinal tap because they are the greatest band who have ever formed and i will never have the wit of nigel ;p )

  • was that neal friggining peart druming for tap?!?!?!??!

  • that is without a doubt...Neal friggin Peart...

  • It isn't actually him, although i think he's supposed to look like him

  • So far, in keeping with the movie, every song has had a different drummer.

  • Didn't look like him, other than the hat...!

  • You're an idiot. Ric Parnell is his name, as someone already said. Fuck Neal Peart. Overrated two-trick pony.

  • Calling Neil Peart overrated says you're an ignorant douchebag

  • Best solo ever!

  • Nobody ever mentions this, but that drummer fuckin' rocks. I don't know his name, but I hope he never spontaneously combusts.

Additionally - Martha Quinn still (25 years later) is spank-worthy. She never returns my calls, and I'm positive that the restraining order is her idea of a joke...

  • it's ric parnell, he's playing mick shrimpton's twin brother ric

  • my friend learns drums from him.

  • Comment removed

  • @Blu3J4y

The drummer is supposed to be the brother of their drummer in the original movie Mick Shrimpton, I think. He "dies" as well.

  • @Jethrofinger His name is Rick Shrimpton, and yeah, he is Mick's brother! There both portrayed by R.J. "Ric" Parnell.

  • haha the fucking horseshoes! hahah

  • How much did they pay for those people in the front of audience? Those people are over-acting way too much.

  • Quinn - "Jeff, when you and Eric Clapton get together, what do you say about Nigel Tufnel?"

Beck - "We never get together"

  • lmao

  • horsehoes ... fucking hilarious!

  • diva fever=awesome

  • cool, Nigel doing some Van Halen - Eruption style solo performance!! :D

  • lol theres alot of picks on nigels mic stand :P

  • look at one of the fans near the stage at 2:04

    dancing like a fag

  • They are louder than you remember because they've turned it up to 11!

  • Right on!

OMFG....that scene in the move was epic! Couldn't stop laughing when I saw it. Still can't :).

  • Nigel talking about 'TFA' had me in stitches. These guys are amazing

  • That keytar player shreds

  • i dont understand i know this is a film but r them guys a real band ?

  • Well, real in the sense that they've released albums and toured, but no, Spinal Tap is three fictional characters.

  • why cant my own generations bands be as good as this. i got to a music college and nothing any of my mates are into can touch spinal tap or anything from the 60s/70s/80s for that matter. lol

  • lol horseshoes :P

  • fyi guest and mc kean have been writing and playn together since 1967 or 69

  • they all rite the songs its split up shearer wrote break like the wind and guest wrote clam caravan mc kean wrote he rest they all can play

  • jeff beck!

  • nigel is so funny and calm

  • TAP ARE REALLY GOOD MUSICIANS!

  • "we never get togheter" hahahaha!!!

  • HAL9000: "Wow, Nigel's still going strong - let's watch."

  • Hah! "I hope you liked his solo twice as much as we did!". Wonderfully snatty!

  • I can't believe all those people who still think Tap is not a real band... They are big parodies of themselves in the end, but did play, sing and write all those songs themselves... so yes... they're comdians/comedy writers aswell as musicians....

  • i love Spinal Tap, almost got into a fight with my dad after he said they were a joke and nowhere near a real band and there music was bullshit. :P

  • they play and they write...tard

  • they are actors but they did play there own instruments and sing their music dumbass.

  • DUH!!

  • dont say duh to me say it to the idiots that dont believe they did.

  • ok so bwf sabian .. DUH!!!

  • My compliments to your operators, and wrath should be conveyed to your educators..

  • No their bassist writes all the songs. He also does most of the voices on the Simpsons. so screw you

  • its true Shearer apears at the simpsons, but it is the whole band who writes the songs, specially Chris Guest

  • He IS the simpsons. He plays Otto, Skinner, Ned, & like 15 other people

  • "...and sometimes he goes like this, which means 'none of your bloody business!'" XD hahaha. Oh Nigel (and Trevor!)...you crack me up. :D

  • WTF is the name of this song anyways?

  • diva fever

  • Nigel is not bad on the guitar..but he's not good either..Not actually a bad song by the way

  • They should get more credit for the songs they write.

I think that's the real joke....while everyone's laughing these guys are putting out semi-decent to decent riffs and songs. It's like they're joking about joking and they are serious as all hell but are really joking.

    You dig?

They are better players than tons of other shit bands.

    Funny shit.

  • There's Trevor! HAHAHAHA

  • here they make a parody onthe main character from "clockwork orange", when singer says GLADNI, GLADNI (which means "hungry" in russian and serbian), just as Mark does in the movie...

  • Even though it's just a pisstake... he isn't actually that bad on guitar! Go Nigel Go!

  • isn't that the albert hall when Derek smalls runs out?

  • thanks for posting this

  • ahahaah the mongoose

  • I wish I could go someplace.

  • I laughed my ass off during Nigel's solo.

  • Nigel's solo is completely ripping the piss out of Pagey! gotta love the 'Tuff' though...

  • The drummer neither looks nor plays like Neil Peart. Except maybe the funny hat. It's Ric Parnell.

  • yeah, It is Ric Parnell (a.k.a Mick Shrimpton). He is dressed just like Neil Peart though.

  • I think the drummer is meant to look like Neil Peart

  • Niel Peart died in a mysterious accident, all that was left as a small green blob on his seat.

  • yea it is Niel Peart

  • cool man

  • THANK YOUUU!!!

  • WHOS THE DRUMMER?!

  • Dude i think its Niel Peart, im not sure though

  • im in this fookin vid! *points at camera* "i got DIVA FEVER!!!!
