Thanks soo much for the vid! I've been racing for quite some time but I'm no pro. Friday night, I was bored and needed to get pumped up for the race the next day. dtbkr, you're right. You do get more traction on concrete...if you have STREET tires. Knobbies DO NOT hookup well on concrete, especially when you are starting on it. This is why he says to get your weight back, and I'm not sure if he said this...but you might want to try burning out in your gate too to lay some rubber down, and therefore get more traction off the start.

@dtbkr Okay jackass, more weight on the back wheel=more traction. When you're on dirt you already have that traction but on concrete if you're up on the tank there's no weight on the rear wheel, therefore, it's going to spin.

you hold the front brake and let the clutch out and it spins because the front brake is holding you back from going forward

its easy all you have too do to spin the back tire is hold on your front brake and let out the clutch as you put on the throttle. and to trip the bike all ya gotta do is just hit the throttle and slightly pop the clutch until the bike grabes then put the clutch in again so you dont launch your bike lol.
