It's a travesty that this is the first time (and only one of two times) that this song had been played live. It's such a great song and I see no reason why it could not have been played live much sooner than this. This song would've been perfect for the Lights in the Sky tour. This song evokes more emotion than any other song for me I've seen it live three times and every time Trent hypnotized the crowd. On the fragile tour and the downward spiral tour the visuals blew me away. This truly takes me back to a really pure time in my life. A warm place. Thank you.

This is hands down the most emotional song Trent has ever made. I love all his NIN creations, but what is it about A Warm Place that makes it so unique that it can amplify your emotion at that time. If your sad, it makes u wanna cry. If your happy, it makes u happier.

Does anyone else agree with me on this, the song is adaptive to whatever your feeling and brings it out from you stronger. Part of the reason why TDS is an EPIC album on all fronts.

But the track's vibe is thoroughly melancholic, due to which I've always regarded that statement as deliberately self-ironic. The concept of the album also strongly suggests that.
