In the post match interview, Madusa looked genuinely messed up after the match--I truly believe Nakano hit her with some hard shots and slams. That AJW ring sounds hard as hell.

Madusa is one of the greatest women of wrestling. I ranked her #4 on my 50 greatest women of wrestling. She was great in the ring and a great face. Her mic skills were underrated and her impact in wrestling is underrated aswell. If it wasn't for her and Bull, women's wrestling, may not have been around then. Which meant, nol Lita, Molly, Trish, Jazz, Sunny Sable and etc. She was great.
Definitely she was better than Madusa but I cannot say better than Bull; unfortunately we have too many Madusa matches and not enough Lola matches with Nakano.
I am sorry Madusa never wrestled Lola Gonzalez anywhere but especially Mexico. She and Nakano wrestled a number of matches against each other and as tag team partners and were pretty good amigas.
I agree Lola was better than Madusa; I give Nakano the edge but Lola was fantastic and a fine sportswoman. Too bad the WWE fans never got to see her in action, but I am not sure based upon Bull's experience Lola would have liked facing Madusa in WWE.

The best wrestling ever, in the history of wrestling took place in the early to mid nineties, in All Japan Womens..they were the best..nothing has or will come close to that level..they had the legends like Akira Hokuto, Aja, Toyota, Kyoko, Bull, LCO, Hotta, Yamada..etc..
If you know anything about Madusa, don't think she might not do it; while Nakano and many other women wrestlers were better than her, Madusa was very tough and would take advantage when she could; the only consideration: the politics would be bad because the Undertaker would protect McCool--who is very overrated.

Trish was good and so were Lita, Jazz, Ivory, Molly, Jacqueline..that generation had ability and talent..but the most underrated IMO were the Glam Girls..they need to be in the HOF even before Wendi.
These 2 wrestled like a million times this exact same match. Only difference was Alundra didnt get the piun with the german suplex and Bull hit the leg drop. All because it was in japan. Their matches were always one sided with Bull kicking her ass until she would pull it out at the end except this one.
Well, Nakano defeated her previously in Japan and in a number of house shows in WWE after she became champion; your comment about the sameness in interesting; I guess Madusa loved that German Suplex.
It would have been nice to see other great wrestlers after Bull became champ who could have wrestled different style matches with her; Reggie Bennett, Susan Sexton, Manami Toyota, Lola Gonzalez, and Xochitl Hamada to name a few.

YES!! OMG!! I thought I was the only one saying that! People often question me as to why I compare the two but its simple; Both are very agile and are very versatile in their moves. You'll never see neither one perform the same moves in every match and they're not predictable. It's gonna take a lot more work and training for Michelle to surpass Madusa BUT I'm sure she will do great in her wrestling career.
Madusa and Michelle have one important thing in common-I don't mean their blonde hair-both well protected by Don Vinnie; and I will always give Madusa her due: she was a very good wrestler and a tough lady; Michelle is no where near her level.

I think it went down hill when Trish was made champion several times. She was highly overrated to the point where it was sickening. A bulldog, a punch here and there and a hand stand leg take-down doesn't make you a wrestler. I can do all that but I wouldn't call myself a wrestler.
Chyna was also highly overrated. She was entertaining but a horrible worker, if not for Triple H's and Shawn Michael's backstage influence she wouldn't have been in the WWE to begin with.
That Women's title really went down a huge peg. So much prestige lost. Prestige that was lost as soon as the title was thrown in the trash. Some of the WWE's divas can actually wrestle like the women shown here but that talent surely would not be seen.

I have seen other comments on other Bull Nakano videos remarking how shes used leg locks in her attacks--how many women wrestlers outside of Japan and SHIMMER do that today. Maybe WWE should ask Bull to come back to work with Finley as a trainer.
Nakano was very badly treated by WWE in more ways than one--she won the title of Vinnie's organization as as I and other posters have said, WWE has NEVER shown this match in full on tv or offered it on DVD--Vinnie protected Madusa 100%; even he and fatso Gorilla Monsoon sniped at Nakano; so Vinnie protected a woman who dumped his title belt into the trash can on tv--yes, I think Madusa was pretty and a great and important wrestler but Bull was dissed.

Vince has never respected real women pro wrestlers, whether they are here in the U.S., or in Japan, or anywherre else. Madusa did what he wanted her to do, that's why he covered for her.

As I wrote before, Bull had to absorb a lot of losses in USA before she beat Madusa here; as to wrestling u can see Nakano can really wrestle; how many women wrestlers do you see use chain moves including leg locks today? Madusa and Bull had several excellent matches but she never received the punishment say an Aja Kong or Kyoko Inoue or Akira Hokotu took-she only got one lariot from Bull in the match and 1 leg drop. Bull was the best WWE ever had.
I guess being the #2 Bull Nakano fan in US-I really dig this match; Bull dominated and won the title; that is enough for me; Bull worked hard in US before she won in Japan; I think the RAW match in April 1995 is very sad; in fact it shows WWE disrespect for Nakano as their champion.
of course Chas The stronghold of mediocre wrestling that the WWE has on America is putrid. For the McMahon's, its more about A** in the seats, selling merch. & will only allow women with DD's (real or fake) in their ring. JAZZ & Lita (even lita was average compared to the rest of the world) are only women I've seen in the WWE ring in the past 5 years that can actually wrestle and not just poseable WWE barbies.
It's sad really. Victoria had the potential but they pretty much killed her gimmick entirely and Melina; well Melina's flexible and she could probably take a beating. However I really cannot see any of the current divas taken on any of the Joshi women.

The use to call the submission move the "inverted boston crab", some call it the "Scorpion Hold" as an "Inverted Scorpion Deathlock" or "Inverted Sharpshooter". I think it's an Combination of an inverted Scorpion Deathlock and a backstretch.
They are quiet throughout the match, politely clapping when prompted by a high spot or a wrestler's interaction. Because of this silence, you can hear all the grunts and groans the wrestlers make, and when its women in the ring it starts to sound like a tennis match. I don't get to see much Japanese wrestling but when I do I find it very fun to watch. I tend to route for any American wrestler who intergrates the Japanese style into their repertoire. It should be a required element.
Madusa and Bull Nakano are 2 of the best ever!! Along with The Fabulous Moolah, Wendi Richter and Sensational Sherri Martel!! I'd even put Jazz in there.
Shes a monster heel. Aja Kong or Dump Matsumoto maybe. But those two have very different wrestling styles than her. A male monster heel would be someone like The Undertaker or the Big Show. In Nakano's era you could check out Kyoko Inoue, Takako Inoue, Tomoko Watanabe, Akira Hokuto e.t.c.
Ahhhh yes! Akira Hokuto! Another Huge heel in womens wrestling! 1 of my favs after Nakano! Do u have the match from WCW Starcade 96 where Hokuto beat Madusa for the first WCW womens title? Hokuto kicked her azz in that match. LOL! I have it on tape.

I am sorry Madusa never wrestled Lola Gonzalez anywhere but especially Mexico. She and Nakano wrestled a number of matches against each other and as tag team partners and were pretty good amigas.
I agree Lola was better than Madusa; I give Nakano the edge but Lola was fantastic and a fine sportswoman. Too bad the WWE fans never got to see her in action, but I am not sure based upon Bull's experience Lola would have liked facing Madusa in WWE.

The best wrestling ever, in the history of wrestling took place in the early to mid nineties, in All Japan Womens..they were the best..nothing has or will come close to that level..they had the legends like Akira Hokuto, Aja, Toyota, Kyoko, Bull, LCO, Hotta, Yamada..etc..

If you know anything about Madusa, don't think she might not do it; while Nakano and many other women wrestlers were better than her, Madusa was very tough and would take advantage when she could; the only consideration: the politics would be bad because the Undertaker would protect McCool--who is very overrated.

These 2 wrestled like a million times this exact same match. Only difference was Alundra didnt get the piun with the german suplex and Bull hit the leg drop. All because it was in japan. Their matches were always one sided with Bull kicking her ass until she would pull it out at the end except this one.

Mildred indirectly give Madusa (and many other great women wrestlers including Jackie Sato, Devil Masami, Wendi Richter, Bull Nakano, and Lola Gonzalez) also agita by training the awesome Monster Ripper from Canada.

Honestly: as awesome as Bull was; they would be far safer with her than Madusa--Ms. Miceli who got her ass kicked by women like Sherri Martel, Aja Kong and Bull Nakano did not like pretty girls who pretended to be wrestlers--Madusa makes no bones about the fact that Stacey Kiebler, Sable, and Torrie Wilson are not on her Christmas Card list;
yeah, having said that I would have loved to see Bull destroy Kelly and Maria in a handicap match.

Allow me to retort: think about what you wrote: this is the freaking WWE Woman's Title--not the AJW or Gaea or Arsion--ergo, Don Vinnie Mac could have found in the last 15 years any number of DVD's to include this match; he would not do it when Bull was champion because he NEVER showed Madusa getting defeated by Nakano in any match; Bull NEVER defeated her on tv--but Bull lost to her when she was champion; to show you Don Vinnie's dissing of Nakano has lessened with time, the WWE recently

Besides WWE fans having to go to YouTube to see this match, they have to go to YouTube to see the great WWE women's title match; Bull Nakano champion vs. Kyoko Inoue, challenger; every current WWE fan I have had watch the match, especially women liked it a lot; first watch the famous Mickie vs. Trish match in WM22; a very good match between a great wrestler MJ and a pretty good but overrated one, Trish Stratus--then you see the Queens of Joshi at work.

released a DVD of Superstars of the 1990's and what match did they pick? Nakano dropping the belt back to Madusa in a stupid and overrated match on RAW in April, 1995--not the match where Bull beat Madusa for the belt; speaking of dropping belts, they did not show the clip of Madusa dropping that belt into the trash.

Allow me to take you to school; if you have watched the match this you well of course note that it was for the freaking WWE Women's Title--ergo, it could have gone in the last 15 freaking years on DVD's dealing with stars of the 1990's or one dealing with women's wreslting--a subject I know Don Vinnie Mack is uncomfortable with as a general rule. By the way, to show you that time has not dampened the disrespect Bull was shown by WWE

I do not think I ever rooted for Madusa in my life except for the ladder match towards the end of her career with Shane Douglas and Torrie Wilson vs. her and Kidman. When she was in the AWA, she wrestled my two out of three of my favorite women wrestlers, Wendi Richer and Sherri Martel; in the WWE she wrestled Ms. Nakano and no more need be said. I have posted both positive and negative things about Madusa

YES!! OMG!! I thought I was the only one saying that! People often question me as to why I compare the two but its simple; Both are very agile and are very versatile in their moves. You'll never see neither one perform the same moves in every match and they're not predictable. It's gonna take a lot more work and training for Michelle to surpass Madusa BUT I'm sure she will do great in her wrestling career.

If u look back the WWE have had great women's wrestlers like Moolah, Donna Christanello, Wendi Richter, Leilani Kai, Judy Martin, Velvet McIntyre, Debbie Combs, Sherri Martel, Luna, Madusa, Bull Nakano, Rhonda Singh. Then they hired the likes of Chyna, Jacqueline & Ivory!! & even the Trish & Lita era with Jazz, Gail Kim, Molly Holly & Victoria!! Now it's bad with all the models & diva search contestants :-(

I think it went down hill when Trish was made champion several times. She was highly overrated to the point where it was sickening. A bulldog, a punch here and there and a hand stand leg take-down doesn't make you a wrestler. I can do all that but I wouldn't call myself a wrestler.
Chyna was also highly overrated. She was entertaining but a horrible worker, if not for Triple H's and Shawn Michael's backstage influence she wouldn't have been in the WWE to begin with.

I have seen other comments on other Bull Nakano videos remarking how shes used leg locks in her attacks--how many women wrestlers outside of Japan and SHIMMER do that today. Maybe WWE should ask Bull to come back to work with Finley as a trainer.

Nakano was very badly treated by WWE in more ways than one--she won the title of Vinnie's organization as as I and other posters have said, WWE has NEVER shown this match in full on tv or offered it on DVD--Vinnie protected Madusa 100%; even he and fatso Gorilla Monsoon sniped at Nakano; so Vinnie protected a woman who dumped his title belt into the trash can on tv--yes, I think Madusa was pretty and a great and important wrestler but Bull was dissed.

Vince has never respected real women pro wrestlers, whether they are here in the U.S., or in Japan, or anywherre else. Madusa did what he wanted her to do, that's why he covered for her.
To Madusa's credit, she later realized what a big mistake she made.

Yes, and Vinnie protected Madusa all along the way; he and fatso Monsoon dissed Bull a lot at the commentary table; Superstars of the 90s video shows the match where Bull dropped the belt back to Madusa; a terrible match which was another slap in the face of Nakano ; this all to protect a woman who dumped Vinnie's belt in the trash on national tv. The WWE has NEVER shown this match where Nakano aced Madusa or the non title match where Bull beat her in Japan about 6 months prior to this match.

As I wrote before, Bull had to absorb a lot of losses in USA before she beat Madusa here; as to wrestling u can see Nakano can really wrestle; how many women wrestlers do you see use chain moves including leg locks today? Madusa and Bull had several excellent matches but she never received the punishment say an Aja Kong or Kyoko Inoue or Akira Hokotu took-she only got one lariot from Bull in the match and 1 leg drop. Bull was the best WWE ever had.

I guess being the #2 Bull Nakano fan in US-I really dig this match; Bull dominated and won the title; that is enough for me; Bull worked hard in US before she won in Japan; I think the RAW match in April 1995 is very sad; in fact it shows WWE disrespect for Nakano as their champion.

of course Chas The stronghold of mediocre wrestling that the WWE has on America is putrid. For the McMahon's, its more about A** in the seats, selling merch. & will only allow women with DD's (real or fake) in their ring. JAZZ & Lita (even lita was average compared to the rest of the world) are only women I've seen in the WWE ring in the past 5 years that can actually wrestle and not just poseable WWE barbies.

Man I love watching these old matches. They weren't trying to pull off some flashy move (that can cost you), they just wrestled, although Blayze seems to be trying to pull off those pointless moves, did her no good though.

The use to call the submission move the "inverted boston crab", some call it the "Scorpion Hold" as an "Inverted Scorpion Deathlock" or "Inverted Sharpshooter". I think it's an Combination of an inverted Scorpion Deathlock and a backstretch.

They are quiet throughout the match, politely clapping when prompted by a high spot or a wrestler's interaction. Because of this silence, you can hear all the grunts and groans the wrestlers make, and when its women in the ring it starts to sound like a tennis match. I don't get to see much Japanese wrestling but when I do I find it very fun to watch. I tend to route for any American wrestler who intergrates the Japanese style into their repertoire. It should be a required element.

Shes a monster heel. Aja Kong or Dump Matsumoto maybe. But those two have very different wrestling styles than her. A male monster heel would be someone like The Undertaker or the Big Show. In Nakano's era you could check out Kyoko Inoue, Takako Inoue, Tomoko Watanabe, Akira Hokuto e.t.c.
