Anyone can do that bit - this video does NOT leave you in a position to install a VM. The agent hasnt been configured and started, this is basically a talk through on how to run the CD.
@ninuxpdb Read the EULA (available on oracle.com): Xen is licensed using the GPL v2 and all of the included third-party applications are GPL-compatible.
Do I need to have oracle linux installed first? i've tried installing on machine which has previous oracle linux installed, but the vm installer fails to see my hard drive.
may I ask what oracle vm does? I received advice from someone to install oracle vm for reasons untold

What a completely pointless video.

What a waste of time.

Have you tried installing it last? Your haste may cause problems, ken?

Might be a bit late, but the answer is no. This actually is a light version of linux.
You will however have to set up a separate box with linux in order to install the OVM Manager...

Hello,
Thanks for the the video. Could you please further by installing multiple OS on this VM server? And also have you tested it for RAC?
Your video is good; it would help if you could also mention about the hardware required for this installation.
Regards,
Shahed

How do you think RAC would work on a VM?
