@sweetpetergeda Those final 10 WCW World Champions were all in a span of 14 months from January 16th, 2000 through March 26th, 2001 while those 10 WWE World Champions were in a span of 40 months from November 9th, 1997 through March 26th, 2001 and Kurt Angle & Scott Steiner both had 4 month reigns that both The Rock & Booker T ended and three guys in both WWE & WCW weren't wrestlers, Vince McMahon, David Arquette & Vince Russo.
@Moshedb23 i get what u saying, and maybe from a business stand point you are right, what iam talking about is the fact that you are acting the wcw champions you listed, outside of arquette and russo, were bad champions or fuck ups for wcw. ddp was the man during the nwo war days, booker t was always a champion before the world title, scott steiner for god sakes, thats one of the steiner bros, enough said, all im saying is you talk about wcw like it was the ulimate warrior lol
Also at the end there when Nash botches the jackknife powerbomb (not a pile driver...) against the Giant it was scripted that he did so and the Giant "broke his neck" and the powerbomb was made illegal. It was a work...Did you even watch WCW?
You can't blame WCW for not putting young talent over in a situation like this. If CM Punk was in the ring cleaning house like this would you honestly believe that Jimmy Wang Yang could go running in there and knock him out? That would have been the equivalent of what you're suggesting.
Nash sucks ass, he could've put triple H on the shelf the way he recently power bomed him.....he needs to hang it up and finally RETIRE, or go back to that shitty show TNA
I'm guessing the 3 counts happened because the wrestlers shoulders were on the mat. If the shoulders are on the mat it gets counted, but as far as I know a cover has to be made. Nice goin WCW

Nash could-and had-powerbombed the Giant in the past, but he'd since put on a lot of weight, which is why he fucked it up. And it IS a powerbomb-not a piledriver.
Ok if you know anything about pro wrestling, yes in fairness not pinning is B.S. but as far as that powerbomb, Paul Wight, (aka the big show) botched that powerbomb, not Kevin Nash, his boot probably slipped when he went to kick up for it. Yes thats right, it's not real, they execute moves together and Big Show didn't kick up hard enough which is why they stopped letting him get powerbombed after that. Don't post on what you don't know about

How is nash trash? have you ever heard of botches? every wrestler has botches. stone cold has botched stunners, the rock has botched lines, angle botched angle slams, cena botched his career... its a fact of life and no man can be responsible for the way the match was booked, blame management... not a superstar...
@TheCotypeace but you know the whole kique and how they ran the most of the bookings, nash even had a hand in some of the match bookings for wcw try watch bam bam bigigelows interview thats why i thnk nash is trash in my opinion everyone to their own
Err... no. You DO realise that Nash was the booker in WCW from 1998 onwards, right?
So in this case, the only person Nash can blame is himself. He booked himself to be top of the card nearly every week and he still made countless botches.
Look at him on WWE television now; the guy sucks. His glory days were behind him the moment that he stopped being Deisel and left for WCW.
I really don't think you can blame Nash with the powerbomb. Big show is a bit too big for things like a powerbomb. It takes too much energy already to lift him up and flip him at the same time. So that may not be a good example.
I agree with most of the comments. You can blame Kevin Nash for a lot of things, but these two examples are not some of them. First example is Russo's crap. Second, The Giant screwed up that powerbomb, too.
WcW was unbalanced... They make strong appeal in the begin, was something make in home with big names. wrestler that make booking etc. and was really good.
After Wcw needed of someone able to kick some ass of who wanted too much regard. It wasn't Bishoff , wasn't Russo; but I think Russo tried and was refused, of-course.
Wow, I love how you blame Nash for something Russo booked. If your going to bring down Nash. At less use a video that he had something to do with booking. Nash was behind the end of the Goldberg streak and the finger poke of doom.
@hambalony That was still poorly typed and worded, but it was slightly more coherent than your usual flaming smark troll dribble, so congratulations. Maybe I can turn you into a human being and not the scum you are yet. I am not in the wrestling business right now because I never wanted to be in the wrestling business. Of course, you are not in the wrestling business because you are a moron with no talent or ability. You are punked and owned here, so I am done with you now on this video.
Don't forget the fact that they hired Brett Hart away from the WWF, paid him allegedly a million dollar a year contract....then didn't use him in any meaningful way.
@HachiZenki Actually, WCW paid Bret Hart $3 million per year to do nothing. Hart was already making a million $ per year in WWF, which he was not earning since Hart could not draw. WCW bought Hart to get the WWF title and when he failed to show up with it, WCW had no use for Hart. Hart himself did not want to do anything in WCW and he had creative control in his contract, so WCW could not make him do anything. Hence, Hart mostly sat at home until Goldturd kicked his head in to end his career
I don't understand why people blame russo so much. Hogan/Bischoff/Nash had already killed the company months before Russo arrived. Sure Russo was shit but he came in to help a dying company, he just ended up accelerating it even faster.
@slowdude It is a long story why the smarks wrongly blame Russo now, but you are 100% correct. Basically, the dirt sheets and sites built Russo to be a god to the smarks when Russo was in WWF rather than give McMahon credit for WWF destroying WCW. Russo went to WCW and proved he was an idiot, so the dirt sheets and sites turned heel on Russo rather than admit they were lying all along about Russo. Also, Russo reminds smarks wrestling is not "real to me damn it" and that crushes their delusions
this is also a bad example because the referee counts up to 3 because it was a knockout (KO) WWF/WWE has also did it a few times in the past so theres nothing wrong with that then you Kevin Nash trying to do a JACKKNIFE NOT PILEDRIVER on the Giant but it was a failed manouver which was a mistake and WWF/WWE makes alot of mistakes like that if anything even more
@TheWaukeshaSquirrel It wasnt just Russo that brought down WCW, it was alot of things. Yes, giving Russo almost all booking rights was a HORRIBLE idea (giving anybody sole booking rights is a bad idea) but guys like Nash, Hogan, Flair, had so much pull things like this ended up happening. One of the stories goes Nash was supose to put Awsome over when he came to WCW, but he used his position to stop it. We all know the Bash at the Beach 2000 story with Hogan
@Sanguiluna Retard smarks (not people) hate Cena because Cena is rich, famous, handsome, and successful (unlike all of them). The Superman crap (which is a farce because Cena does more jobs and takes more beatings than any top face in history) is just a fake excuse for retard smarks to vent their irrational hate. Retard smarks, like the morons who killed WCW, are just heel fans who want everything booked ass backwards and do not understand that the Cena type faces are what earns $ in wrestling
Kevin Nash did put over Rey Mysterio. This is what you call "Monster Booking" Booking a monster to not leave his feet. It was done with Hogan, and every other big man in the business. The botched powerbomb was partially Big Slow's fault. You make sure you land flat backed... Don't get me wrong, I'm not fond of a marginal worker booking himself in the main event, but what you're showing is from the Russo era. Russo was responsible for the end of WCW. Don't believe me, watch TNA.
The whole new blood angle was so lame. It was just a culmination of a decade of WCW failing to promote and develop talent properly, so they had to throw together a bunch of guys out of the power plant that had never wrestled a tv match with over the hill veterans to carry them and give the young guys some credibility. This also led to them using a bunch of career mid-carders and tag wrestlers, ie. jeff jarrett, rick steiner, buff bagwell, as main eventers because they were only ones anyone knew
The hell? Undertaker's a veteran and one of the most respected men in the business. Though hugely popular he never strived to be a headliner and was okay with putting younger, upcoming wrestlers over. There are plenty of accounts given by other wrestlers of how Taker looked out for his peers. In his autobiography Mick Foley solely credits Taker's experience and selflesness for the success of their 1998 Hell in a Cell match.
Taker's a legend, but also encourages younger generations.
@EnigmaDrath I can't remember who said it but someone said, I never felt in a safer place then when taker had me in position to tombstone me. That's a huge reason he is still around, he's quality to the bone.
I was in attendance for the Nash versus the New Blood gauntlet match (6-5-2000) in the Philips Arena. I thought it was odd that Nash didn't have to cover the guy lying on his back. When this match took place, it was running overtime (TNT had some crappy program I don't remember that was scheduled for 10:00), and the referee was trying to hurry things along.
Nash with the failed powerbomb on Paul Wight was probably the latter's swan song in WCW ('Souled Out '98) . No wonder he went to the WWF.
When Nash and Hall came in,a clause in their contract said noone who comes into the companyafter them can make more money.if a post-Outsider arrival has a big paycheque, their pay goes up .When Nash was a booker(BIG MISTAKE),he used his power backstage to get what he wanted on stage.
Nash just left TNA because they wanted to cut his pay by 5% and raise Jeff Hardys by 5%,so they would have made the same amount.
That Gauntlet isn't Nash's fault. It's the people who WROTE that crap. And don't tell me Nash never jobbed. He put over Rey Misterio during Misterio's giant killer storyline in WCW. And he has helped several TNA wrestlers raise up over the last few years. Nash is NOT part of the problem.
His lucky that he didn't kill Paul Wight. The worst part about Nash was that he never put anyone over. WCW had a ton of young talent and they never ever used it.
hate him is fine but in a shoot interview he was asked... who is the best wrestler.. and he laughed and said "well if your talk'n talent you could argue for 12 different guys but if you consider wrestling a business the best is the guy who makes the most money and Hogan made the most money so he's the best. " I kinda liked the way he framed that answer.
@KennedyMrKennedy i have a lot of respect for you. any language with latin roots (english, spanish) is very confusing. i think you're doing just fine.
haha your videos are funny. The invisible pins are hilarious but as far as the Jacknife on Show goes Nash never wanted to do it. He said he couldn't hold the weight but show and bischoff convinced him otherwise.
I like how Candido just dutifully lies there waiting to get pinned before realizing it isn't going to happen and rolling out of the ring with a "what is this shit" expression.
Vince Russo is a conniving asshole who screwed everyone in the WCW and made them lose their jobs. He is a disgusting disgrace and ruined everything awesome about pro wrestling. The piece of cow shit needs to be shot in the nuts with a pump action shotgun.
Well its because of his inability to get down and up real fast due to his crippled ass self.Nash mightve looked good walking in,that is until you seen him work.Worse than Lugar. For all the people involved in the cancer like destruction of WCW,I hope every last one of you is running and getting coffee for whomever youre working for now.Karma rules!

In one fell swoop, Nash buried just about all the young talent of the company. And people wonder why WCW bombed.
EricV1 10 months ago
@EricV1 Not much different than DX burying the whole roster in late 2006.
ASQ1Fan 9 months ago
@ASQ1Fan If you put it that way, then maybe Vince should watch this and learn not to bury all the young talent.

wcw fail because of vince russo and all the celbs coming in and get payed for virtually nothing
joshuasmith91 10 months ago
I really don't think you can blame Nash with the powerbomb. Big show is a bit too big for things like a powerbomb. It takes too much energy already to lift him up and flip him at the same time. So that may not be a good example.
vlocke83 10 months ago
WCW fail because they decide to bring in Vince Russo whom knows Jack shit bout wrestling. And Having david arquette has a fucking champion!
ClassicWWEWCWNWA 10 months ago
I agree with most of the comments. You can blame Kevin Nash for a lot of things, but these two examples are not some of them. First example is Russo's crap. Second, The Giant screwed up that powerbomb, too.
m1k38706 10 months ago
What was the music called at the beginning?
nightcat23 10 months ago
WcW was unbalanced... They make strong appeal in the begin, was something make in home with big names. wrestler that make booking etc. and was really good.
After Wcw needed of someone able to kick some ass of who wanted too much regard. It wasn't Bishoff , wasn't Russo; but I think Russo tried and was refused, of-course.
luisnazariodalima1 10 months ago

HachiZenki 11 months ago
@HachiZenki Actually, WCW paid Bret Hart $3 million per year to do nothing. Hart was already making a million $ per year in WWF, which he was not earning since Hart could not draw. WCW bought Hart to get the WWF title and when he failed to show up with it, WCW had no use for Hart. Hart himself did not want to do anything in WCW and he had creative control in his contract, so WCW could not make him do anything. Hence, Hart mostly sat at home until Goldturd kicked his head in to end his career

cstring420 11 months ago
I don't understand why people blame russo so much. Hogan/Bischoff/Nash had already killed the company months before Russo arrived. Sure Russo was shit but he came in to help a dying company, he just ended up accelerating it even faster.
slowdude 1 year ago 4
@slowdude It is a long story why the smarks wrongly blame Russo now, but you are 100% correct. Basically, the dirt sheets and sites built Russo to be a god to the smarks when Russo was in WWF rather than give McMahon credit for WWF destroying WCW. Russo went to WCW and proved he was an idiot, so the dirt sheets and sites turned heel on Russo rather than admit they were lying all along about Russo. Also, Russo reminds smarks wrestling is not "real to me damn it" and that crushes their delusions
MRobert21 10 months ago
this is also a bad example because the referee counts up to 3 because it was a knockout (KO) WWF/WWE has also did it a few times in the past so theres nothing wrong with that then you Kevin Nash trying to do a JACKKNIFE NOT PILEDRIVER on the Giant but it was a failed manouver which was a mistake and WWF/WWE makes alot of mistakes like that if anything even more
hasman22222 1 year ago
@TheWaukeshaSquirrel It wasnt just Russo that brought down WCW, it was alot of things. Yes, giving Russo almost all booking rights was a HORRIBLE idea (giving anybody sole booking rights is a bad idea) but guys like Nash, Hogan, Flair, had so much pull things like this ended up happening. One of the stories goes Nash was supose to put Awsome over when he came to WCW, but he used his position to stop it. We all know the Bash at the Beach 2000 story with Hogan

josemlozada 1 year ago

@beeteep60 well to be fair the Undertaker will put people over. You think Nash woulda taken a beating by the Great Kahli?
dasstu 1 year ago 2
@beeteep60
EnigmaDrath 1 year ago

No wonder he went to the WWF.
basherman69 1 year ago
When Nash and Hall came in,a clause in their contract said noone who comes into the companyafter them can make more money.if a post-Outsider arrival has a big paycheque, their pay goes up .When Nash was a booker(BIG MISTAKE),he used his power backstage to get what he wanted on stage.
Nash just left TNA because they wanted to cut his pay by 5% and raise Jeff Hardys by 5%,so they would have made the same amount.
SweetWhiskerz 1 year ago
Believe it or not, that wasn't a piledriver on Giant, it was a failed Jacknife Powerbomb.
