Very nice. I have a small Djed pillar and knew that it symbolized Osiris but I was not aware it symbolized his resurrection/backbone specifically. That makes sense.

Isn't there an alternate myth tha claim Seth is actually Anubis's father?

@rsoxfan1123 At ostara I used a green candle as the pillar and rose it up to symbolsie his ressurection, so you're lcuky to have a real one.

And yes some claim Seth is his father, but as Seth was the desert and infertile it was often inferred that it was Osiris.

@Pagyptsian The djed wasn't that expensive either. It was from that Egyptologist. I can get you his info if you want to see what they cost. I think he mails them out and it is small so it shouldn't cost much to ship. I think it was like $8 USD.
