Of the top ten highest payrolls in MLB only the Yankees and Phillies made the playoffs. Red Sox. Mets, Cubs, all in the 150-175 mil range didn't make it.

The salaries and ticket prices are ridiculous at the Stadium, but when you go, you know its going to be fun unlike Shitty Field & the Mutts! Even if my team fails, our ownership doesn't take failure lightly and anything less than a championship is indeed a failure.
