As a captain in the US Army stationed in Germany, I served as a Casualty Assistance Officer for a young soldier and his wife who were on this flight. The soldier was assigned to my unit in Germany and they were flying home for the holidays. I spent christmas eve inventoring all of their personal effects at their residence in Germany and arranging for shipment of al property to relatives in the US. A very sad moment in my army career. I always remember this date and the many people who died.

In the early 1980's I lived in East Kilbride, Scotland. At the time the Somerville family lived a short walk from my parents house. I remember playing with Paul. I also have memories of his sister Lynsey and his parents. Our families moved on: Paul's to Lockerbie and mine to Canada. When you're seven years old and playing in your friend's driveway you'd never imagine such a terrible, terrible thing happening to him and his family some seven years later. I remember you Paul - rest in peace.
I was four when lockerbie air disaster happened and lived 8 miles away all i saw was the sky light up like a thunder and lightening storm. This Film thats meant to be made is silly, lockerbie doesnt want film people going around it im sure and making a hollywood out of it.

It calms the viewer that there were no survivors, but several expert analysis state that up to 150 people were alive and conscious while falling, and that several people might have survived the flight due to falling into trees, but freezed to death because they were found too late.

Magrahi never admitted the crime, vigourosly denies it in fact, and has actually expressed his sympathies for the lives lost.
His trial was a joke, evidence was with held and there wasn't even a jury. No jury in the world would have convicted him.
The US also paid the main who's testimony put him away.

As a captain in the US Army stationed in Germany, I served as a Casualty Assistance Officer for a young soldier and his wife who were on this flight. The soldier was assigned to my unit in Germany and they were flying home for the holidays. I spent christmas eve inventoring all of their personal effects at their residence in Germany and arranging for shipment of al property to relatives in the US. A very sad moment in my army career. I always remember this date and the many people who died.

In the early 1980's I lived in East Kilbride, Scotland. At the time the Somerville family lived a short walk from my parents house. I remember playing with Paul. I also have memories of his sister Lynsey and his parents. Our families moved on: Paul's to Lockerbie and mine to Canada. When you're seven years old and playing in your friend's driveway you'd never imagine such a terrible, terrible thing happening to him and his family some seven years later. I remember you Paul - rest in peace.

I was four when lockerbie air disaster happened and lived 8 miles away all i saw was the sky light up like a thunder and lightening storm. This Film thats meant to be made is silly, lockerbie doesnt want film people going around it im sure and making a hollywood out of it.

Just to add something to the video that is not some hateful discussion of radicals on both sides but a tad constructive: The video is not quite correct. It calms the viewer that there were no survivors, but several expert analysis state that up to 150 people were alive and conscious while falling, and that several people might have survived the flight due to falling into trees, but freezed to death because they were found too late.
