Im Bipolar and was often out of control during manic episodes, losing all judgement. I was suicidal when I came back home to Dad. I'd hit rock bottom. When I helped Dad clean the church I would spend a couple hours a day listening to the mp3 player he gave me of christian music. How sad ...to refer to God or Jesus as an "invisible monster" is totally contrary to the personal experience of any "solid" Christian.
Many people have attempted to skew the Bible in a negative light but they typically take things out of context or do not consider a thorough study of historical factors.

Imagine for a moment that you, all of your friends, and the family you love were born into the Muslim faith.
According to the bible, you will be spending an eternity in eternal fire and torment for praying to the wrong god. So god created the cultural diversity of the Muslims and then engineered the punishment for this diversity.
There are over 1.5 billion Muslims presently living on our planet. If there was a less moral ideology than the one presented in the bible, I haven’t heard of it.

Who am I? I am a man who lives in a world where most of his neighbours believe in an invisible monster named Yahweh, and that someday soon he will fly through the clouds sending billions of people to eternal suffering for not accepting his total dictatorship. And yes, I may be forgotten once my children die. But at least they did not live their lives in ignorance to facts and basic common sense as your children do.
The bible is ripe with hatred and intolerance, read it, it promotes atheism.

If you can give me scriptural references to all of the atrocities that you claim God promotes, then we can debate. It is not death that God wants for unbelievers, he wants unbelievers to get to know him so that he may deliver them from their burdens and cleans them of sin, that is why he sent his son to earth as a living sacrifice, after all. A perfect sacrifice that bought us back from death. All we have to do is accept it! None of us are innocent, from Mother Theresa to bin Laden, everyone has sinned. this is the song they played at my ceterifuge i sure miss it there!!! ever time i hear this song i feel like god is looking over me and giving me a hand and telling me to keep going and i want to cry but im so happy and i feel so happy! i feel relieved! and right know just hearing it, it makes me feel one again. thank you for posting this, i had a buch of problems before god really took a toll in my life.

Im Bipolar and was often out of control during manic episodes, losing all judgement. I was suicidal when I came back home to Dad. I'd hit rock bottom. When I helped Dad clean the church I would spend a couple hours a day listening to the mp3 player he gave me of christian music. I was alone in a darkened sanctuary one morning, thinking if only you could help me Lord. Shivers went up my spine and arms embraced me. Now I walk in faith and follow His will. Praise God!
