@DeBalaguer With all due respect from the start of WW2 until the end of WW2, we in Britain had to consider that every person in Germany was a NAZI, of course we do not think that way now.
The NAZI's bombed our cities and killed many thousands of civilians, and we did the same but we did not look at the people in Dresden etc as civilians, to the British they were all NAZI's. I know Polish people living here in England that wanted us to bomb German cities until 1960, even after your surrender.

@illiniman34 The only reason that the USAAF has so many aces is because the USAAF is about twenty times bigger than any other airforce, so obviously the statistics will make the USA look better than they really are. The Germans are not NAZI'S now that is true. But in WW2 the Luftwaffe was blown out of the sky by the RAF in the Battle of Britain.

Actually Germany has 426 Figting Jets (1990 - 746 Jets) 180 Eurofighter for 18 Billion € are ordered. Actually all old Airplanes would taken out of servive, sold and replaced. (sold to Poland, Turky, etc.). A modern Airforce dident need Jet-oldies like Harrier, old Mirage, etc.)

Do you go by manpower or by technology? If by the former, well, Germany has 284,500 active troops (for comparison, France has 259,050 and UK 240,400), that's not counting reservists (remember, we do have conscription). If by technology, well, nearly every country in Europe is using the Leopard 2. Do I need to say any more?
And that's just talking army as a whole. If you go by air force and Navy, the same applies, although I will admit that the Navy gets a bit less attention. After all, what fights are we gonna see in the Baltic Sea???
german airforce is certainly good but Britain is EU's military elite, have been since post ww2, i think we have 232 of these things Germany only has 180. But hey we are all in the EU and i think our militaries are becoming more and more consolidated anyway

@illiniman34 The only reason that the USAAF has so many aces is because the USAAF is about twenty times bigger than any other airforce, so obviously the statistics will make the USA look better than they really are. The Germans are not NAZI'S now that is true. But in WW2 the Luftwaffe was blown out of the sky by the RAF in the Battle of Britain.

Das erste Flugzeug ist kein Eurofighter, sondern ein Tornado. Ab 0:41 sieht man eine F-16, von denen Deutschland keine hat. Die Maschine ab 0:54 sieht wie eine MiG-21 aus, die längst außer Dienst ist. Wie kann die deutsche Luftwaffe die Elite Europas sein mit veraltetem Fluggerät und so wenigen Flugstunden (aufgrund der finanziellen Einsparungen), dass man Mühe hat, die NATO-Vorgaben zu erfüllen?

ELITE ist eine Truppenübung mit verbündeten Staaten. Die F16 und MiG-21 kommen aus dem Ausland und so veraltet ist das deutsche Fluggerät nun auch wieder nicht.

The Allies had to reciprocate, we had NO choice.

You are talking bollocks, Germans are no longer considered to be Nazi's in any way. However the majority of Germans in 1939 were swept away with Hitlers success on the battlefield, and Germans who did not support Hitler at first became Hitler supporters very quickly, so yes the vast majority of Germans were Nazi's in WW2.
Today they are our European friends, Japan is our friend also.

Germany ended it's ties with the Nazi's in 1945.
It makes me wonder what kind of friends that you have as I have been to Germany on numerous occasions, and I have spoken with many Germans, and there has never been a mention of the Nazi's at all.

The Luftwaffe still trains U.S. pilots on some things. Americans, Germans & Britain have many things in common, #1 being the large German populations. 20% of America is German. I'm sure it's more now. These are old statistics.

im on about germany have 350 planes , france haveing 800 and britain have 1100, naval terms germanys not even worth comparing to france or Uk , and in army landforce germany has strong power but only in land , you say about the leopard being best tank , well the vchallenger 2 has the longest tank kill recorded and has never had one lost in combat , despite 1 being hit by plenty of rpg and ied , it still kept its crew unhurt inside

Actually Germany has 426 Figting Jets (1990 - 746 Jets) 180 Eurofighter for 18 Billion € are ordered. Actually all old Airplanes would taken out of servive, sold and replaced. (sold to Poland, Turky, etc.). A modern Airforce dident need Jet-oldies like Harrier, old Mirage, etc.)

Do you go by manpower or by technology? If by the former, well, Germany has 284,500 active troops (for comparison, France has 259,050 and UK 240,400), that's not counting reservists (remember, we do have conscription). If by technology, well, nearly every country in Europe is using the Leopard 2. Do I need to say any more?
