Definitely got the humour! :) Structured coherence is important if you want to sell the 'story' tho. The homeless footage is interesting. So not sure if this is a drama, documentary, docu-drama etc...but that's down to structure. Plus if you say something 'stars' Mark Valley, you might want to show more of him. Good shoot/editing will give you the wow, ass-kicking factor no gimicks needed. Oh and you get bonus points for the NatGeo Matt Mullins XMA stuff in the background. ;-)
lol.. it's a fun & quirky start. I look forward to seeing where you go with it. I dont think I'd have made much sense of it without having read your book's sample chapter though.
And you might want to consider dropping the green-screen stuff. On a micro- budget slick, clever but simple works best. High-concept stuff is cool, but if you've not got the tools you need to make it work, it can do more harm then good.
Hey, thanks, I kind of agree about our poor GS shooting, but I just love the reality-bending nature. Yeah, I might drop it. I guess you can make more sense of it if you read the chapter, but I'm just hoping it puts across originality, action, humor and, of course, some really good fights that the movie will be full of.
I don't know what the fuck that was.....but I like it.
