Love em or Hate em everyone knows Franklin vs Shamrock was a Fluke. It was the fluke that launched Franklins career, he owes Shamrock a thank you by giving him a rematch.

Btw, about Franklin still: The only thing Im unsure about with his fight is the fact that he doesn't really want to be TUF coach according to an interview. And does he really want to go back to mw to fight bisping? and a.silva? or is it vs bisping at lhw? or back to lhw after it and not vs spider if he wins?

So it's like, if he wins he has to do stuff that he doesn't want to do? Im pretty confused. Wonder what that'll do to his motivation. But i guess he will win anyway and figure it out later.

I'm no fan of bisping but you got to go by results and by results hes as bad as a split decision loss to Rashad Evans and as good as a decision win to Chris Leben. Those are his lows and highs in the sport of MMA. As to being the caliber of Rashad Evans - has he accomplished as much as Rashad? No but he clearly wasn't outclassed by him when they fought.

1. He clearly lost to Matt Hamill and he's not even near one of the top guys in his weight class.

2. Rashad has improved a ridiculous amount since he fought Bisping so you can't compare the two, if they fought now Rashad would destroy Bisping.

3. Bisping has only beaten one good fighter in his carear and that's Leben so that's as good as he is at the moment.

I'm not hating on Bisping, it's just ridiculous how much the British build him up as a fighter when he has yet to prove himself.

This is going to be a great card. Shoguns camp has said he is on, and if thats the case, he should win. Davis/Lytle has FOTY potential, and Hendo/Franklin is tough to call, but I see Hendo doing well in the clinch, and enough on the feet, to win a decision. Nice Picks, keep it up as usual.

Another great video man. I agree with you about Franklin, he is a good fighter but his competition is lacking. He failed his tests against top caliber opponents, Silva and Machida, but stomps over lesser competition like Hamill and Quarry. I think he will fail this test against Henderson.

If Henderson can lose to Misaki and go to split decision with Bustamante and Yuki Kondo, he surely can lose to franklin.

So I'm picking Franklin by UD. By just being the more technical, quicker fighter. Dan's all about wear and tear but Franklin is pretty durable and I think he'll be able to avoid those wild punches of henderson. But we'll see.

I agree with you. The Pride guys weren't all the greatest and I gve a ton of credit to Franklin. for sure, Hendo has lost to guys far less talented then Franklin but I don't see it happening here. It could, and I'll talk about it in the recap.

But Quarry? Naw. He has 10 wins with none bigger then Pete Sell, Shonie Carter, or Drew McFedries in 2001. n' Griffin, I give him a lot of credit for doing what he does. But he beat Shogun and Rampage each on their worst nights ever.
