However, maybe the fan is simply enjoying memories of his past. I've seen the same kind of enthusiasm for many shows and films from adults... for the Twilight films to most definitely Sex and the City.
I l-o-v-e-d this show when I was a kid in the 60's--I get a very warm feeling seeing it here again . The person that posted it here is awesome as far as I'm concerned--it made a 60's kid happy again . Vaughn and McCallum are dear old friends I havent seen for ages. What a fantastic thing to see this again--I better go out and get the video set !!
OK I admit it. I had the gun with all the attachments that also came with the badge. I even wrote a fan letter to the show and in return I got an "official" man from UNCLE ID card. I had some other spy goodies like the camera that turned into a gun as well. That's right, I was a spy nerd.
I wrote to them from my boarding school in England and they sent me an U.N.C.L.E id card (section 7 propergander and finance) not even my parents wrote to me!!
Fantastic clip - thanks for posting! Do you know who whe UNCLE experts that they interview are? The man with the German movie posters and the two women?
The balding man is Danny Biederman, creator of the online Spy-Fi archives. The woman in glasses who calls David 'hot' is Ellen Druda, site owner of DMc Fans Online. The blonde woman is Dr. Cindy W Walker, an associate professor of communication and media literacy. The dark-haired man who mentions the arms race in the 60s is Lee Pfeiffer, editor-in-chief of Cinema Retro. The interviews with fans and the stars are included on the MfU DVD set.

I was such a huge fan of this show - I even wrote in and got the little UNCLE membership card and spy kit. Major love of Ilya Kuryakin.

One of the greatest shows - 60's Spys and Spacemen came along and killed off the 50's Detectives and Cowboys.

This video should be titled: The Man from U.N.C.L.E.: Behind the Scenes of a TV Classic.
U.N.C.L.E. is an acronym that stands for "United Network Command for Law and Enforcement". Ha!
