I met this guy last year and I had a beer with him. However, I had no idea who he was so I asked him what he did etc. He said he was a Kayaker. I then asked him is he any good? He kind of looked at me strange and he said he was in the olympics. I asked him how he did. He said 'oh not too bad' or something along those lines. He got more arrogant as I asked him questions, but the fact was I didnt know him. He may have thought I was fucking around with him because he got very rude towards me.
