Hey, I liked your review. Strong, concise, easy to watch. Anyways, I was wondering about using microSD... Do I have use a card reader on my computer to put any media or files I want on it? Or can I put the SD in the phone and then it will automatically use it when I sync?
If it is the former, once in the phone, does it automatically put the files in the correct place? Or is it more like putting a data CD in you computer, were I have to go to "my computer" and then open it from there.
Internet Explorer is OK. But Opera Mini 4 is DA-BOMB!! Hands down the best mobile browser ived used... ever! (It requires Java applet installed, but thats a free download for Windows Mobile anyway)
if i were to take the 3G simcard from my att/cingular cell phone and put it into a blackjack phone bought off the internet, would it work without having to pay any extra charges or undergo and other procedures?
do u have to buy the pda package for 40 bucks a month or can u just put a normal sim card from at&t? if not what will happen if u do just put a normal sim from at&t in it?
Yes, i am also looking to see if i could use just a normal sim card in the Blackjack b/c i have a free phone that does the basic features a phone does but i want to upgrade. Can i use this sim card in the balckjack without conflict between the sim and the phone???
Good review though I'm a little confused with your comment about the notifications. On my BlackJack, I can set different notification sounds for calls, received text messages, and voice mail.
Exactly. Both of mine are different. Email notifies me with the New_email sound and received sms text messages notify me with the theme to The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. I just tested it.
great review. I own a pocket pc, blackberry, and i just bought a blackjack today. Like you said you lose some features but the 1.3 megapixel camera and good media apps make up for it.
it comes with 2 batteries. one is a thicker battery meant for extended battery life. it comes with a battery cover especially for that battery. the downfall is that using the extended battery makes the phone thicker.
not really much u can do to extend the battery life, i just have an extra battery handy... and if remember correctly it actually comes with 2 batteries in the box.
i have the same phone whit very quick 3G network and i'm very proud owner of this phone i love it :)

From the time i used it i couldnt find that option. But as other users point out below, you can set different tones for email and sms.
It seems i missed that option.

My comment was made regarding different notification sounds for recv'd txt msg or recv'd email. You cant differentiate.
