well ps3 is a little bit newer and a slightly more powerful console so i would assume ps3

I don't believe that's the case. Most cross platform games end up looking better with a higher frame rate on the Xbox 360 compared to the PS3. In the case of FN4, there is little to no difference between the two games.

Both versions look just about the same so you really can't go wrong. I personally would go with the Xbox 360 version for online play.
