excellent review. I bought a 6 cell and I have a ticking sound every 10 secs from inside the eee when its turned off and unplugged from adapter. do you have it to maybe?

6 cell batts are also not good for hand use i don't know how jkk likes them

if you want more battery life go for a netbook with highest capacity standard size battery with intel atom Z500 battery

6 cell batteries hang out from the unit a little but are a really good investment if you are looking for good battery life.

I like the cover in the sense that you could paint or do something cool to the top cover and just use that to customize.

Hi. Great review. I also found the jump start issue with my 6600mAH battery. I thought I was going mad! I've just received my 10400mAH battery (purchased on eBay from Hong Kong). I've been using my EEE 900 on and off all day, and the battery still has 40% left. The 10400 battery is slightly deeper, so it lifts the EEE PC and tilts it towards you. Nice feature as it makes typing easier. It also allows more airflow under the PC to help cool it.
