I don't mind Starbucks coffee at all. A company I used to work for used to order it in bags and we'd use a regular drip coffee machine and it tasted pretty good. The company I work for now has these icup machines, and with the same beans, it makes the most joyless awful cup of coffee imaginable. Even after a rinse cycle. It's also weird when it makes coffee, if you watch it will spit out the coffee, but then it also spits out some hot water from a separate nozzle into the cup to dilute it.
I tried a cup of coffee from this machine at the Starbucks Support Center (the corporate head office) and it was amazing!! They had Verona and Decaf Verona available that day! So delicious!
Company i work for they have a cappuccino machine. I'm guessing is powder an instant coffee. It is horrible. An they only bring out the coffee burner that makes regular coffee when they do charity events. They are cheap an don't wanna buy a machine like this one unless it was donate to them.
@anime130 it doesn't make specialized beverages, just brew coffee. So replacing all the baristas would not only take the personal experience away, but no one would be left to personalize your coffee. Just sayin...
I would assume because premium coffee drinks are starbucks cash cow.. The profit margin is unbelievable, they don't want to cannibalize that revenue. That would be my guess.

Yeah that's it user error. I don't know how to push a button. I have tried in two different machines both tasted the same. Just saying.

Finally!
Barista's are SOOOOOO annoying.

Tastes terrible. Not like a true Starbuck cup of coffee. Not a good representation of a brand name they worked so hard to establish.

@tackweed I have one of these in my office and it's awesome! If yours taste horrible it's probably user error or maybe it needs to be cleaned.
