Nice song I must say from lyrics and music standpoint, but factually incorrect. Astronomy, Mathematics were developed independently by many civilizations in the ancient world.

The biggest lie in the song is this line - 'kale gorey ka bhed nahi' , an obvious reference to black/white divide in the west. Fact is till this day in India we have this divide.

It's okay if we aren't the best in the world. We can aspire to be some day rather than bask in false pride.

@dineshj9 Its from india the modern mathematics took roots.the greeksmoght have known astronomy.but the decimal system and zero was passed down to other civilixations through arabs in late 12 century while it was invented in india and used from 1st century itself.the arabs borrowed it through india.and later passed down to others
