my heart goes out to the parents of this lil guy. he in no way deserved to die over some idiots cops ego. police,, what is it youre being trained to do this kind of stuff for?? would you expect another cop to treat youre child to this? i am going to start a blog for we the people to be able to obtain these "non lethal" gadgets so if confronted by the police who act out this"guity till court"attitude. maybe that will allow the police to rise above the paraniodal attack of we the people

I think the problem is that there are so many genuine idiots swarming around youtube, that it's hard to tell.

I've more than once had the reverse situation: for example, I thought one guy remarked sarcasticly how selfless America was and that the rest of the world would be lost without U.S. hegemony... turned out he was serious.

I have said for a long time that tasers need to be removed. Batons should be used by cops. There is no reason to invests tens of thousands in something you can buy for about $20 each. A baton is more effective and you never hear about anyone being killed by one.

The difference is tasers rarely kill, 1 out of a thousand shots harm or kill.

A cop may have just chased the kid for miles in their car and lost him had they not had the taser to stop the kid.

Considering he said the kid was hit by the cop car, are we even sure the taser killed the kid.

Was the kid on some substance that weakened the heart.

We know nothing about what contributed to his death, only he was hit by a car and tasered.

Correlation doesnt equal causation.

What we do know it nobody could predict the kid would die

I seriously doubt the police originally intended to run him over

We dont yet havepolice testimony of why he stopped the person in the first place

We dont know the importance of his interest, and chasing normally doesnt lead to death

The man was wrong to run from a cop, and the cop was wrong to run over the man

All the claims made here have been without merit either way

Heres a better and in fact, actual reporting on the incident.

The person wasnt even hit with the taser from eyewitness testimony.

The person kept riding the bike far until he was about to get off near a wearhouse and the officer ran over the kid, which likely killed him.

Even if he hit the kid and the witness was wrong, it didnt kill the kid, and the car running over him was the most likely cause.

Neither reporter gives us an autopsy report

whichever way the kid got killed doesn't matter but what matter he got killed for nothing or some small mischief

running from the cops, well i know many ran off the cops at his age for stupid crap they did. If the kid wasn't worried much about the policeman, I bet he was worried about his parents scolding him for getting in trouble
